Right from the first call Melvin was GENUINELY helpful....we could tell right off the bat that it was part of his character. Melvin will ZIP when it comes to your comfortability. He'll inform you of EVERY detail that a consumer would benefit from, he brings you into some knowledge...THAT, ladies and gentleman, is call HELPING...Having moved here from D.C. we ain't had a vehicle in 3 years and was rusty on the game. Melvin CARED for our ignorance and listened to EVERYTHING we had to say or thought. He of course used the original salesman's tool of "cushioning" a sale, but never tried to play us. I can RESPECT this type of person and organization that'll work with the uninformed public on such major purchases. Being faced with a less than a year current job placement, A 3 year discharged bankruptcy and a low down payment...they chose to STILL help us AND went to bat for us with the Banks that were seeking to deny the loan. On top of that we ain't meet'em all, but xxxx near the entire company shared that energy of hospitality. My wife needed a charger and 2 people supplied the base and cord of some spares that they had...the popcorn stayed fresh, quality coffee and tea...the car that we received had a responsible single owner and was most likely in high quality condition once David McDavid acquired it and all they had to do to prepare it for us was to give it a "once over".. .but thats not what they did, they took major interest in how they detailed the care for us....THIS 2011 CAR LOOKS BRAND NEW..... Best experience among visiting 3 shops for the same problem Went to them to fix the A/C that was blowing hot air. Another shop had attempted a $1000 fix some 2 weeks back before it again. They needed an additional ~$350 to fix the newly identified problem. Took it to another shop where they needed ~600 for the same fix. When the car was newer, I always trusted McDavid and enjoyed their services but concluded their price ought to be higher. That may still be the case in some situations but this experience forced me to reconsider that opinion. They fixed it at the lowest cost among these 3 and hopefully I will not have to go there for the same problem again if my own history with them continue to hold good.
