I went into this dealership and applied to purchase a vehicle, they told me their business office was closed but they would be able to process everything next day. Next day came and didn’t hear a respons vehicle, they told me their business office was closed but they would be able to process everything next day. Next day came and didn’t hear a response, reached out and they kept saying the business office was working on everything. Three days later and they were still saying the same thing. We called multiple times asking to speak to a supervisor and NEVER got a call. Four days later and we notified them if we didn’t get a call by the manager that day we would not purchase through them. We did not get a phone call so we walked into a different Honda dealership in McKinney and within a few hours we were done and had our vehicle. I would NEVER go to Honda Frisco to purchase a vehicle again. More
I tried to buy a Honda CRV from this dealership over the past week. They agreed to a $2000 discount off MSRP of a 2025 CRV Touring in writing, as an enticement to get me to come in. Once I got there, Sc past week. They agreed to a $2000 discount off MSRP of a 2025 CRV Touring in writing, as an enticement to get me to come in. Once I got there, Scott Mazur tried to sell me the same vehicle at full MSRP and also low-balled my trade by several thousand dollars. He tried to blame it on hail damage that had been repaired. He also showed me a Kelly Blue Book estimate that was several thousand lower than what I got - I'm not sure what he changed to do that. I asked him for the offer sheet - he said it was Internal Use Only and declined to give me a copy and tried to prevent me from photographing it. I asked him for my keys back. Rather than give them to me, he made excuses. I showed him the text where they agreed to 2,000 MSRP before I came in. He said he would not have done that. He came back with a second proposal offering a better trade amount and $1,000 of MSRP. I declined again and asked for my keys. He ignored me. He came back a third time offering $2,000 off MSRP and a little better on my trade. I declined again so he made another counter which I eventually agreed to. He said they did not want to agree to that amount but indicated they would grudgingly do it. He then fumbled around for better than 30 minutes trying to upload my driver's license and insurance into their system. I had given it to him earlier to make a copy but that was not good enough, he needed me to photograph them and email them to him which he never seemed to get. Why he could not do it himself, I will never know. I was out of time so I left saying I would come back the next day to close the deal. He asked for a $3,000 credit card deposit, which I gave him. I was there two hours. The next day I asked for him to send me the paperwork they wanted me to sign and agree to so I could review it before I got there. They fumbled around for hours but eventually sent me the several documents. The Vehicle Buyer's Order was a very one-sided agreement which I sent several objections to. After 24 hours, hearing nothing, I asked Scott for a status update. He said no one had ever tried to negotiate that agreement before and did not know what to do. He said they would probably waive arbitration but that might be it. He said if I wanted a more formal response, send it to the GM, which I did. Three days later the GM sent me an email saying other than arbitration, it was pretty much take it or leave it. He gave me less than 24 hours to respond or they would void the deal. Some of the objectional terms were: I had to agree that they were not accountable for any oral statements they made to me. They wanted me to accept the vehicle with no warranties other than the manufacturer's warranty. They said they were selling it "AS IS," "WITH ALL FAULTS." That sounded like a used car to me, not a new car with 5 miles on it. They wanted me to agree that they could repossess the car if my check was dishonored. They had previously told me a personal check was fine. I offered to bring them a cashier's check or hundred dollar bills. They refused to strike that phrase. They had broad Damage Limitations which were objectionable. They had a long set of one-sided Dealer's Remedies but no mention of any Buyer's remedies if the Dealer defaulted. I called Texas DMV. They said these terms should have been disclosed with the price and before they took the deposit. I also read the FTC CARS rule which requires them to be honest and up-front. They also tried to get me to sign a credit authorization and proof of insurance forms when I was paying cash. How inappropriate. They also wanted me to be responsible for any additional taxes if they made errors in their calculations and the dealer's inventory tax which was not previously disclosed and hidden in registration fees. Registration fees are mandatory, dealer inventory tax is negotiable and does not have to be paid by the Buyer, by law. More

Mr. Rahman was very nice and helpful! When the lady at the front desk wasn't helpful at all & was sorta rude to me when I came it the first time. She didn't seem to want to help me at all. I then found Mr the front desk wasn't helpful at all & was sorta rude to me when I came it the first time. She didn't seem to want to help me at all. I then found Mr. Rahman on my own and he listened to all I needed and was looking for. I then brought my husband back on another day and we ended up leaving with our new CR-V Hybrid with the help of Mr. Rahman. Thank you Azizur Rahman for all your help. More
This was the first dealership where we didn't feel sleezy working with. The coaching of the sales team is evident to not feel like you're working with "car salesmen" mentality. Our sales person was Eddie H working with. The coaching of the sales team is evident to not feel like you're working with "car salesmen" mentality. Our sales person was Eddie Hawk. Great guy! Funny and sincere. He took care of us right away. There were no long delays. We negotiated a great deal on our Honda Odyssey and were in and out within a couple hours with our new family vehicle. Even the business person in the backroom (which are usually the worst!!) was amazing. The Finance Manager, Talal was also also genuine, and treated us with dignity and integrity. Very easy and kind to work with from the moment we called the dealership, to arriving, to test-driving, negotiating and then purchasing. We highly recommend David McDavid Honda of Frisco for your next Honda purchase. The only slight we can think of, is they said they would gas up the vehicle and deep clean it before we left with it. It was thoroughly cleaned, but the tank was on 1/2 and not filled up as promised. This probably was just an oversight as we said we needed to be somewhere soon. Great dealership! More
