This was one of the most incompetent, ill-mannered establishments I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. It was a headache from start to finish. No one seems to know what they're doing or what department something should go through. The only competent person I interacted with was a receptionist over the phone. I felt like a number and that money was the only priority to everyone else I spoke with - zero customer service orientation. When negotiating the price, we were told one thing but they later rescinded, saying they "were looking at the wrong vehicle." We asked for some minor scratches to be taken care of before we arrived to pick up the car - it wasn't done. They said they would call in "a couple of days" to set up a time for us to return for that. It has been over a month with no contact about that. I asked for the tires to be aired before we left because one was 10 PSI below the others - it wasn't done. I had my own financing, with a better interest rate they could offer, but they don't "do" electronic funds transfers from legitimate, FDIC insured banks, so I had to go through the hassle of ordering a cashiers check, which they would not let me mail to them directly, adding 5+ days to the entire transaction. I will never return here for anything and will warn anyone who cares to know about the experience to run far away from David McDavid Honda of Frisco. More

My original purchase experience from this dealership a year ago was excellent. However, when it came time to process a claim through the extended warranty I purchased here at the time I bought my Odyssey year ago was excellent. However, when it came time to process a claim through the extended warranty I purchased here at the time I bought my Odyssey, I had 6 weeks of extreme frustration. The Frisco dealership (that is, our service adviser Dylan Flatt) successfully secured one claim for us that was found in the diagnostic process, but he refused to pursue the concern we had come to him for, despite us telling him that 3 other mechanics (including one at another Honda dealer out of network) had told us the control arm was damaged; Dylan conferred with the assigned mechanic and inspected the van himself but told us there was no problem and he would not submit the request to the warranty company. For this, I had to pay a $100 deductible for accessing the warranty. A few days later, after I completed a review requested by the Honda Corporate office, Dylan called us and asked that I not do any other reviews about him. When confronted by the inappropriateness of this request, he apologized and acknowledged he should not have called; kudos for this. Less than a week later, another dealership in the same dealer network correctly diagnosed the same issue, submitted a claim to the warranty company and secured authorization for this $2000+ repair. However, because Dylan had refused to submit the claim to the warranty the week before, I had to pay a second $100 deductible for using the warranty; I would not have had to pay a second deductible if Dylan had submitted the claim to the warranty company when he had the car a week earlier. The car runs great now! I will not be back to David McDavid Honda of Frisco. More

Their protection packages are hard to pass up.. then the manager came by while waiting and had a chill person to person talk. :) I will most likely buy all my cards from this location now. More
This dealership is not to be trusted. They literally sold me a vehicle that has complete engine failure about 20 days after purchasing the vehicle; which they assured me was checked out b They literally sold me a vehicle that has complete engine failure about 20 days after purchasing the vehicle; which they assured me was checked out by their Mechanics and was in good working condition. Only two weeks after purchasing this car for my daughters first vehicle it had a leak so I took it into a mechanic only to find out that we needed a completely new engine or a rebuild. When we reached out to them they told us that there was nothing they can do nor did they even try to attempt to fix the situation. They are frauds and they do not check out these vehicles that there are selling on their lot that are used vehicles. They attempt to sell you a $4000 warranty that is absurd because they know that the cars they’re selling you have mechanical issues. Do NOT purchase cars from this shady dealership! More

When I came to pick it up, they tried to say that I purchased a totally different car! After several minutes of arguing, we told them we didn’t want the car now we are having a problem getting our deposit back Plus, this all started when I started looking at the car the card had a dent on it and I was told that it wasn’t that big of a deal!! they said they could buff it out. I told them I’m buying a brand new car I’m not I don’t wanna buy a car that is wrecked already so be careful when you buy car from David Mcdavid Honda and Frisco, because it was shady the deal that they were trying to do, so we ended up buying another car at another dealership More
