I'm really disappointed on how my service advisor is helping me out. I've been having an issue with my suspension on my 2019 Type R I've already come in multiple times to try to get it fixed, but they s helping me out. I've been trying to get fixed since December 15th. I've been really patient and understanding but this last visit was so crappy and a joke. On January 4th I brought the car in for the 3RD TIME, on the 6th I was told they'll have to order a part and it'll be here the next week. I message the service advisor for an update on 13th, parts still didn't arrive(I'm pretty sure he closed the RO around this time that was opened on the 4th) I reach out to him on the 28th, no response. I reach out to him again on February 1st, he finally text me back that the parts are here now.. Drop off my car on 2nd( different RO was opened and they probably closed the original one when the part came but they didn't notify me) car is ready on 3rd. I left out of town on the 4th so I wasn't able to drive my car. I came back 9th and started driving my car on the 10th and noticed the noise. I messaged him on the 10th that the noise is still there. He never responded to me. 1st time they told me end links , 2nd time that a master tech said it was the dashboard and where the chassis meet, 3rd time was the strut. I reached out to the service manager on the 11th he said he'll look into it. He never responded to me. I messaged the General manager and he never responded to me. More

I was going to purchase a vehicle from this dealership until Cesar the internet sales manager ran my credit 5 TIMES without my permission. I told him I already had approval from my bank and I only wanted until Cesar the internet sales manager ran my credit 5 TIMES without my permission. I told him I already had approval from my bank and I only wanted him to submit the application to them and he said ok. I had 1 inquiry on my credit report prior to dealing with Cesar. Next thing I know I checked my credit report and I had several inquiries that I DID NOT authorize. He submitted the application to multiple lenders after I stressed the fact over and over that he is to NOT submit it to anybody but my bank. I ended up purchasing a vehicle from David McDavid Honda of Frisco and I had NO ISSUES while I was at the Frisco location I received numerous text messages from Cesar asking me if I was going to that dealership. He was very unprofessional. More
This dealership will lie and pray on people of color and tell them that they are getting a better deal which is a lie. Christopher Merchant will sell you a story about his ex wife and how she was able to ge tell them that they are getting a better deal which is a lie. THEY WILL HAVE YOU TO FALSIFY INFO. Also let no get on the finance manager trying to relate just because you have a wife of color. THEY WILL ALSO LIE ON OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. THEY WILL PRAY ON THOSE AS YOU JUST GOING FOR REGULAR MAINTENANCE ON YOUR CAR. Also if you see a finance manager going over numbers on an IPAD PRO. Just know they falsified info on there. Easy way to delete w/o having to track to have a paper trail. They will also lie on other financial institutions. Let’s get on the Finance Mgr and how you tried to clown Clay Cooley and you still doing the same business tactics as them. Y’all have truly RUINED MY LIFE. Y’all LIED ON HONDA FINANCIAL. ALSO YALL HONDA FINANCIAL DOES NOT ALLOW FOR YOU TO DO AN EARLY PAYOFF. MAKE SURE YALL GET EVERYTHING OR WRITE DOWN WHAT THEY SAY OR JUST VIDEO RECORD SOME OF THE xxxxxxxx THAT THEY TELL YALL. THEY REALLY NO TRYING TO WORK WITH YOU. OR SO THEY WILL TELL YALL AND THEN AFTERWARDS MAKE THEM SIGN SOMETHING ACKNOWLEDGING WHAT THE xxxxxxxx THEY DELIVERED TO YOU!!!! More

Bad experience with Service Center I had a pretty bad experience with the guys , couple of weeks back my car had an issue (D3 Light flashing ) so went to david mcdavid of irving to get I had a pretty bad experience with the guys , couple of weeks back my car had an issue (D3 Light flashing ) so went to david mcdavid of irving to get it repaired .The guy there told me it is a value which is the cause for this issue they asked me if they could order that and get it replaced I said yes.it took them about 2 days and after few days the issue came back again this time they told me they had to get the whole transmission replaced I said yes again they had my car for more than a week, I thought this would fix the issue. After 2 weeks I started getting different transmission issues again.When i spoke this to service center guys they told some issues are complicated .I don't know why they are called trained technicians if they can't solve the issue More

I purchased a used truck in January. It had a broken windshield which I was assured would be repaired. Service after the sale is the worst I have ever seen! I bought a used 2016 Honda Pilot in August of 2019 and I have been wanting to post a review about my experience at David McDavid Irving for a long tim I bought a used 2016 Honda Pilot in August of 2019 and I have been wanting to post a review about my experience at David McDavid Irving for a long time. I paid $24,000 for my Honda Pilot after you factor in the extended warranty and upholstery service protection. You would think that after someone pays this much for a car whether it is used or not; that someone would get some sored of service after the sale. I own a Mercedes but I don't expect Mercedes level service. I do like to talk to people that know how to help me, can follow up and answer simple questions about my purchase. The half a dozen people I have dealt with in the past year at David McDavid are incompetent and don’t know what is going on. I even sent them an email detailing my experience and never received a follow up from them. Every person I have ever talked to at David McDavid was confused and unable to help. Sam Mau and his finance director acted very nice and even welcomed me to their family. However, once I gave them my check it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. They are the very worst of the worst. I would have gotten better service at “Joe Bob’s Used Cars”. My wife and I are afraid to go there for any type of service. We paid $1,000 for their upholstery protection product, but we assume they would not even honor it if we took it there. That is how bad they are. We would rather not waste or time with their lack of service and the frustration they bring so we consider the $1,000 a loss and would rather pay someone else out of pocket to clean our upholstery. We have been taking our car to Lute Riley Honda since we purchased our Honda Pilot for any type of service. They are great! We have purchased 2 cars at Lute Riley Honda and I can honestly say I would never purchase a car from David McDavid even if they gave me 50% off the purchase. Maybe David McDavid could learn a thing from Lute Riley Honda on how to service their customers better. When we purchased our vehicle, they promised it would be ready by a certain day. It was not ready and we had to postpone a vacation. When we finally picked up the car a week later it was still not ready. We had to bring it back twice for all kinds of reasons. They even promised to touch up the car but it took a lot of begging to get them to even do that. We had to beg them to change the almost dead battery on our key fob before we drove the car off the lot. The warning light telling us the key fob battery was almost dead kept coming on. One of their sales people told us that they do not replace key fob batteries when someone buys a car. I guess that five-dollar Duracell battery is too much to ask on a $24K purchase. We told them it would really be bad if we were driving home and the key fob died and disabled our car and they would have to come and get us. We have called David McDavid over a dozen times and it is very difficult to get any information from anyone at David McDavid to help. The people that answer the phone have no idea what is going on and do not know how to direct us to the right person. We were not given any information about the finances of the car we bought. When we had not received a bill for a couple of months after we drove off the lot, I called to get some information from the sales office. I couldn’t get anyone to call me back for a long time and when they did call me back, I couldn’t get anyone to help me figure out what bank to contact about our loan. They had no idea who they go to do our loan. Go Figure. I could go on but you get the picture. More
