Beware of this stealership! I reached out to this dealership knowing exactly what car I wanted. I asked for out the door pricing and they sent it over. I filled out a credit ap I reached out to this dealership knowing exactly what car I wanted. I asked for out the door pricing and they sent it over. I filled out a credit app online and they told me the rate I got approved for and what my monthly payment would be. When I get to the finance office, the finance guy asked if I wanted any of the additional maintenance or service packages; I declined, so payment was still exactly what I expected it to be at 72 months. Three weeks later, I signed up for my online Honda Finance account and see that the Finance Manager extended the term to 84 months, added a $1,750 maintenance package, a $609 key replacement package and increased the sales price of the car by $1,053.79. I am completely disgusted. This man looked me in my eyes while I told him how my wife and daughter had passed away and I just need a car to get around town and don’t need any of the extra packages. Bad bad bad service dept. They don't greet their customers instead they have them walk in and pretending to be on the phones making people wait to make them look busy. I think They don't greet their customers instead they have them walk in and pretending to be on the phones making people wait to make them look busy. I think the GM should look closely into what is going on, if I dont have the oil change package I bought for the car, I would even give them the time. More

My husband and I went to David McDavid Honda of Irving to purchase a truck that was listed online. I’ve never worked at a dealership so I don’t know how things work. We got approved, signed paperwork and pai purchase a truck that was listed online. I’ve never worked at a dealership so I don’t know how things work. We got approved, signed paperwork and paid the down payment. They tell us the truck isn’t ready and needs to be serviced. Because I’m not aware how things work, we assumed that the truck was ready since it was listed. We understood that we wouldn’t get it immediately. My husband and I are having to share one vehicle and needed to know a time frame to accommodate things. After we left we waited to be called and given a time frame but never received a call. I called the dealership to speak with someone above the manager. The gentleman I spoke to was rude and said that if we wanted to back out from the deal that they wouldn’t lose anything because other people were interested in the truck. I told him that was rude that he was telling me that he didn’t care to have my business. He then asked if a loaner would help and I said yes. He told me he would call me the next day to let me know when we could pick up the loaner and to give a time frame of the truck but hasn’t called. I tried calling to speak with him and won’t pick up our calls. It’s very unprofessional how they’ve handled this situation especially spending so much money here. Due to David McDavid’s employees, they’ve lost business from us. But like the gentleman said they don’t care if they have our business. This type of treatment makes me want to take it to the media and let everyone know not to shop here. Oh and on top of that, another employee told us that the reason they couldn’t release the vehicle to us was because the truck couldn’t pass a state inspection and it would cost the dealership 20k for all the repairs. They were trying to find a way to sale us the vehicle without having to pay the 20k for the emissions system. More
The van I looked at was very nice and at a decent price, not a good price. The van was listed for $16999. When we started negotiating, the price jumped to 18999. I asked why the price changed and he said th not a good price. The van was listed for $16999. When we started negotiating, the price jumped to 18999. I asked why the price changed and he said that was to prep the van. Clean it up, new tires, etc. I told them that is fraud and they better change it back to the original price...and they did. They also did not give a good amount on my trade-in. I was able to get a little more on the trade-in, but not much. I have never had anyone raise the price by $2,000 and act like that was normal. BEWARE! More

so i purchased my car back in june as soon as i drove off the lot the check engine light came on so i took the car back to them and they kept the car for a week and told me everything was fine then boom it c the lot the check engine light came on so i took the car back to them and they kept the car for a week and told me everything was fine then boom it came on again so i went to drop it off the service manager came outside and told me to take it to a chevrolet dealership and which i did they diagnosed the car and told me it was the fuel injectors of course my sorry warranty they say will cover any issues don’t cover nothing! so that pissed me off i reached out to the bbb and all because i hadn’t had the car that long and everything was going wrong so the director reached out to me and told me long story short he took care of me then i thought everything was fine until the check engine light came right back on and not only that but my car completely stopped in the middle of an intersection and wouldn’t come back on i had to get it towed to the nearest chevrolet and once i did that they told me the battery was so fried that they couldn’t diagnose the issue until a new battery was put in which was 400$ that i had to pay out of pocket because once again my sorry warranty they gave me barely covers my a**! so i paid for the battery and they did the diagnostics and it came back that it was an intake valve coming apart in the car and issue that should’ve been dealt with when i first got the car im so sick of having to reach out to them for every little thing this dealership is a heaux a real dealership would at least try and correct their mistakes you know take accountability but noooo the service manager told me today that theirs nothing they can do that’s unacceptable i will go to the bbb y’all sold a single mother a lemon and got her coming out of pocket behind y’all indiscretions right before christmas!!! My daughter who is 20 and a first time car buyer chose this dealership to purchase a car with her boyfriend. Both having bad credit scores of low to mid 500s they were approved for a car that was around $ this dealership to purchase a car with her boyfriend. Both having bad credit scores of low to mid 500s they were approved for a car that was around $16,600.. They were talked into a $3,000 warranty on the car also and after taxes and fees the car was around $21,000. They used ever bit of money they had at $3,500 to put down so they financed the car (a 2017 Chevy Malibu) at 72 months and were given a whopping rate of 20.5 % interest. All for a car with over 107,000 miles on it. That’s right, a vehicle with over 100k miles which the total cost after all payments are made will be over $35,000. This is predatory lending in my opinion and taking advantage of naive young people trying to start their life. We’re disappointed that our daughter wasn’t more financially smart to not sign for such a rip-off financing but the salesman selling them this vehicle should’ve been more honest and let them know what they were possibly getting into. I have purchased a vehicle before from a David McDavid dealership and it will be my last one. More
