My experience with McDavid of Honda of Irving's finance department was deeply disappointing. They misled me about policies before I signed, only for me to find out a year later. When I raised concerns, the department was deeply disappointing. They misled me about policies before I signed, only for me to find out a year later. When I raised concerns, they treated me disrespectfully, claiming I was stuck with the terms because I had signed. They denied making any verbal promises, showing a lack of integrity and customer care. Caution is advised when dealing with this dealership's finance department, as trust and honesty are sorely lacking. Not recommended at all. More

Literally about to arrive and I get a call the car is being served so I can’t see it. I proceeded to arrive so they could look at trade in to appraise it. I had full financial approval from my bank; however this dealership does not like to do business with out of state banks. xxx? They try to get you to finance with their in house banks at much higher APR’s! In the end I found a much newer used BMW at a lower price with no issues with that dealership work with out of state banks. My bank FEDEX that day and they received the certified check the following day and I got my beautiful car. I highly recommend TOP LINE AUTO if you are looking for a used luxury car. They will treat with respect and not waste your valuable time! More

I spoke with Josh (Service Manager) on 02/22/2023 after coming back to the dealership after the scar stalled while driving on Interstate 635. Almost getting in an accident and trying to drive the car back to the dealership, the car began bucking once again and wouldn't go pass 40 miles an hour on an interstate where the speed limit reaches 70 MPH. I called and spoke to Mr. Rey, the service advisor an explained I was coming in. I arrived and told him I wanted to speak with the service manager immediately, he informed me to give him a minute. I stated to Josh that this was unacceptable and for me to be a loyal customer to where since I've been in Texas for over two years, my car has been serviced there and I have a complete record to show that. All maintenance has been completed and things that aren't, plans are made with Mr. Rey to complete them at a later time that works for my budget. After talking with him, I was told to wait in the waiting room while he looked a few things. After an hour, Mr Rey, comes and said that Josh had two options. To trade out of my car or pay $1495 to have the head gasket fixed instead of paying $2995.00 before taxes. After going back and speaking with Josh, I explained I shouldn't have to pay that because his guys messed up to where you guys have already had to come out of pocket $1500. If he messed up again, that is your problem not mine so I shouldn't have to pay that. He basically said that we already spent money and not putting more into it but I kept telling him, that it was an issue they caused. You took liability for it already when you paid for the first incident then you come back saying, "oh trade out it"? He stated that was all he could offer, so after I ask Mr Rey to bring my car around and explained to Mr. Rey (Because Josh was becoming disrespectful) that I can go ahead and just pay the $1495 on the 28th of March that when I'll have to money because I need a working car and I'm still paying a note and that afterwards they wouldn't see me anymore because this has been an ongoing situation for months. On 03/29/2023 I took the car up to David McDavid to have them finally fix the issue because this is when I would have the $1495 to fix it. Mr Rey put me in a rental, I signed paperwork and I was under the impression everything was done. I went home and continued to work. The next day at 03/30/2023, I got a call at 7:30 am (with a voicemail ) from Mr Rey saying I need to return the rental car or agree to pay the full price to fix my car. MY HEART SINKED because I went over the price before i left with the rental. He said that Josh (the service manager) stated the $1495 was for the day I was there and had to be done right then. I immediately went back to the dealership and just gave the rental back and got my car back. On Saturday 04/01/2023, I'm driving from the airport with family and the bottom of my car fall out (the entire engine cover), I immediately head back after calling and asking to speak with the director over Josh (the service manager), the secretary ended up putting Josh on the phone and I told him that I was pissed from the last incident with the rental and that I was going to deal with it professionally but then you give me my car back and didn't even have the nerve to make sure everything was placed back how it should be, almost causing another accident while I'm driving, he began to talk and I stated NO!! I told Mr. Rey also to book the appointment for the head gasket and this has been scheduled for a over a month AND i completed the paperwork for the rental AND went over the price to confirm for you to change the price, when you gave you word AND I HAVE IT HAND WRITTEN with nothing saying it was for that day to have me come back and deal with this mess over again. He apologized and said they if I came they would put the engine cover back on properly. At this point, I am fed up and this will not be the only thing I file against the dealership. More
We spent a while online finding a car and purchased it online, made down payment, got a receipt and set a time to pick up the car. We also were given the VIN. Then they sold it to another person. Entire staff was rude and wouldnt call us back because the demand for this car is high. customer service and dignity is non-existant at this deslership. I would stay away and pay more just to get better service and respect. At the time of this review, they still have the $5500 dollars we put down on the car. No apology, no lets make this right, no call back! You’re just a number at this dealership. More
