This is my 2nd car from david mcdavid....I don't live in the area, but I have choosen to drive all the way to Irving just becaeuse...THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTUMER SERVICE!!!!! I have now purchased three vehicles from David McDavid Honda. All have been a pleasent experience. They are freidnly and courteous from sales through service. In this latest purchase I had difficulty finding a Civic due to the popularity of the Civic and the shortage caused by the Tsunami in Japan. Kevin Thrapp worked through this and delivered a car in a reasonable amount of time. More
I bought a 2011 Accord Coupe from this dealership on August 27, 2011. I originally communicated with Sayed via email and set an appointment for 1:30 p.m. When I arrived at that time, he informed me that August 27, 2011. The vehicle was online for $20,000 when I looked at it, but when I got there, the price was changed to $25,000. When I expressed my concern to Sayed, he just said that it was a misprint. However, Godfrie didn't dismiss my concern and I was given the price online that I originally viewed. We paid cash for the vehicle, so we were in and out in about 1 1/2 hours. Godfrie was wonderful to work with and I did not have a complaint. When I got home, I noticed the trunk liner was coming apart, there was a scuff on the front bumper and the "TPMS" sensor came on while I was driving home. I emailed Sayed, as they were already closed and he promptly responded Monday morning to let me know I could bring the vehicle back in and they would correct the problems. I planned to drop my car off at lunchtime on Wednesday, but was asked to bring it in sooner, so I dropped it off Tuesday at lunchtime. I showed Godfrie all of the problems and they were written up. He took me out to my "loaner" vehicle. As I left the dealership, I realized this wasn't a loaner at all. This was a 2009 Accord sedan they were attempting to sell. It had 2 full size sheets of paper taped to the front windshield, hindering my view, 3 different colors of tint on the 5 windows, and the gas light was on. I was furious. I emailed Sayed and informed him of my disappointment and also let him know that, in the future, I would not have my vehicle serviced or repaired there, as the caliber of the "loaner" vehicle I was given was not up to the standards I am used to at other dealerships (Lute Riley Honda, BMW and Nissan). He did not really seem to care. I was told I could pick my vehicle up at 1:00 Thursday. I arrived at 1:15 and waited until 1:45. They finally brought my vehicle up and when I popped the trunk, it hadn't even been fixed. I spoke with the manager who took it directly back to get it fixed, but when I explained how unsatisfied I was regarding my entire 2 day experience, he didn't seem to care either. I was pleased with the purchase of my vehicle, but will never refer anyone there or return there for service. I am used to driving a loaner that is the same caliber or better than my own vehicle and having small problems fixed right the first time. More

My time spent buying a car was long and drawn out, things kept falling through on my end....I knew which car I wanted EXACTLY...after much encouragement through the dealership I finally applied for financing kept falling through on my end....I knew which car I wanted EXACTLY...after much encouragement through the dealership I finally applied for financing through HONDA and it was successful. It took months to find the car and a few minutes to finish the task. It's soooooo pretty, I love my new Honda. I love my old Honda too, but this one is exactly what I wanted. More
Normally, I do not care for car shopping simply due to the fact that as a woman my prior experiences have been less than stellar. However, this time was different. David McDavid and its employees were ph the fact that as a woman my prior experiences have been less than stellar. However, this time was different. David McDavid and its employees were phenomenal. Their customer care is second to none. This is my fourth Honda so I can honestly say the quality of the automobiles is well respected and known for a reason. Adding superior customer care is simply the icing on the cake. I will return to David McDavid Honda of Irving for future purchases. More
Jon is great to buy from a honda from. Jon makes his own deals having been with this dealership for many many years. He doesn't need to running back and forth to the man who's never met a customer for pric deals having been with this dealership for many many years. He doesn't need to running back and forth to the man who's never met a customer for pricing. He gives you a price and take it or leave it. We've taken his price about 6 times. No hassle shopping. More
