My experience at David McDavid of Irving was great. The salesman, John Bartis, was very professional and very helpful. I put query out on most dealer website and got replies from all. Also got reply via phone from DMD of Irving. The salesman I talked too was nice to start with and as I wanted no haggling at dealership I i from all. Also got reply via phone from DMD of Irving. The salesman I talked too was nice to start with and as I wanted no haggling at dealership I insisted on phone deal as I was a serious buyer and ended up buying two new hondas. I sent my EXACT REQUIREMENT VIA EMAIL to which I got a phone reply that it is OK and has been agreed upon by the manager. I was suppose to be there at 8:30PM and it was all agreed at around 5pm. As I was getting ready to get there at half the way I just called and was surprised to learn that the salesman has left and so has his manager. There was no one there who can tell me about the deal and some even were mocking that no such deal exists. One person though called (and he was nice when I explained all to him and was not trying to mock me) and said that the X has left and asked me to expect you but there is no deal and I will start from scratch. Needless to say I turned back half way. Next day my email and calls were not returned at first and when through switchboard I finally got hold of the salesman I was told that it was a deal and was on the computer and now that everyone knows it cannot be done. No logical answer was given to me as to why no one knew and if it was on computer who was suppose to make that deal..totally absurd! I reached the manager who has supposedly approved the deal and he gave another story and said salesman never agreed to the deal. To which I sent an email to the salesman telling him the same and he insisted that the manger has agreed to it. As I had wasted a whole day on this deal I called the manager again and told him that this dealership wasted my time and I cannot imagine why would they lie so much. He started telling me I am upset as I did not get the deal and which was true but the fact was I was lied to. My recommendation to this dealership is DO NOT LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. Dont try to get people in the door and try to waste their time. I ended up buying two new cars from Honda of McKinney and Rusty Wallis Honda in couple of days and the folks over there were great and looked even better after my experience at the David McDavid Honda Of Irving. Summery of this review: Try to visit other Honda Dealers. There are many good dealers in metropolis. You decide what to do. I can not advice- because- I am fool myself. I bought Honda CR-V 2011 on 09-16-11. The vehicle is fantastic. But the dealership stinks with a culture of NO Customer Service attitude. First important point for this dealership "This customer is here, get all you can, and if he/she does not come back- who cares?" (I have names of all these persons and email documented as well) I had offered my last price to the Internet Salesman. Suddenly Internet sales manager jumps out of his cabin and stated yelling- I repeat-yelling- that I am wasting his sales person's time. I started leaving the show room. Than the salesman and finance manager came and asked me to ignore that manager. I was fooled that they are really sorry for manager's behavior. But No: It is all trick, it is all written and rehearsed script. Someone will humiliate you, other will try to console you and get the sales. I am one of the fools. However, when my paperwork was being prepared, I was told that I had no security alarm system and I must pay $ 800.00 or so extra. I stopped all paperwork and decided to walk out. The sales person comes again and informs me that- the lady was not aware of the fact that the system is installed and is included in the price. I emailed my grievances and experience to the GM. No response. I was asked by salesman for SURVEY with all good -good about everyone including the Internet sales manager and including the lady who tried to get more money from me. I did not. The sales person posted negative review on my business website. I complained and complained. No apology from anyone. Moreover, the salesman asked me not to come to dealership as I had not given good review about his team mates. There is a lot more. I was lured into buying extra care program. I was fooled again. However, I cancelled the extra contract on next day. The contract fees of $ 1400.00 are still not returned. It is almost 15 weeks. The customer service started the refund procedure after 8 weeks of email, calls and reminders were made. Salesman and Finance manager never cared to return my email about $ 1400.00 refund. The customer service says: It could take one day- It could take one month. She can not help anymore. Not a single follow up call from anyone. Even I am not given two sets of keys and remote. I was told by customer service that the salesman has given me two sets and that is it. More

The car I wanted was in great condition, just as described by the sales associate. He was very attentive and treated me well. After reviewing the car and operation of the vehicle he had the car deta described by the sales associate. He was very attentive and treated me well. After reviewing the car and operation of the vehicle he had the car detailed. They did a great job detailing the car, it was very clean and did not smell of purfumed cleaners. The finance associate was very good and reviewed the papers I needed to sign and explained the meaning of each signature. A good experience but the car did not have a full tank of gas when I left the lot!! More

I was originally just looking online and searching for prices when i submitted a request for a quote, Brandy gave me a call, and assured me that they would be able to work with me even with bad credit. I went into the dealership, still worried about the fact that my credit was not that good and I had little to nothing for a downpayment, and I wasn't sure if my car would be of value for a trade in. However after talking to Sayed, he put a lot of my fears to rest, and was very helpful, and made sure that I was able to get a car within my budget. Not only that but they Helped me get a monthly payment that was Definately less then what I was planning to pay....if it wasnt for them Sayed brandy and the finance guy ( I feel bad cause I forgot his name ) but if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have driven away with a car!!!!!
