The circumstances described in the customer’s review are inaccurate. The customer purchased a used 2016 Honda CRV “AS IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS” on November 8, 2024. At the time of the transaction, the vehicle had 163,278 miles. The dealership presented the customer with the option of purchasing a vehicle service contract. The customer declined. Even though the customer purchased his vehicle “AS IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS” and declined to purchase a vehicle service contract, the dealership performed repairs to the vehicle free of charge following the vehicle’s purchase as a goodwill gesture. When the customer submitted another complaint, the dealership requested that he bring the vehicle to the dealership for inspection. The customer refused and instead disputed his $2,500 down payment with his credit card company, claiming that he is entitled to its return. While the dealership has made several good faith attempts to resolve this matter with the customer even though it is under no obligation to do so, the customer has refused to work with the dealership. The dealership remains open to resolution but the customer’s participation is necessary.
