I'm thankful for their help in getting my 2011 Honda Odyssey. They provided a good discount for the car itself but not the dealership accessories that are already installed which cost you 3x to 5x the M Odyssey. He is not truthful that the tint is included on the dealership accessories but it was not and he said he is giving that free. We don't like the Door Edge Guard & Stripe and wanted to be removed from the dealership accessories and he said he will be giving it free because can't be removed anymore. But I end up paying it as $299 for the door edge guard and $299 for the stripe. My mistake because I trusted him and he did not represented anymore the total computation for the car and it's dealership accessories. I have a pre-approved auto loan from Texans Credit Union of $30,000 with 3.49% APR. The finance officer offered me an extended warranty for 7years/100,000 miles for $2050 with 0.9% of $32,050 for almost free as he presented. He is not truthful and misrepresented my monthly payment with TCU 3.49% vs Honda Financing 0.9%. He said I need to pay an extra of $7 only but it is not true. I need to pay $23.68 more every month for 36 months loan period. Below is the actual computation on Honda Website: 879.06/month for 36months TCU 3.5% APR of $30,000.00 without extended warranty 902.68/month for 36months Honda 0.9% of $32,050.00 with extended warranty 23.68 Difference TCU 3.5% vs Honda 0.9% More
This is my 2nd car from david mcdavid....I don't live in the area, but I have choosen to drive all the way to Irving just becaeuse...THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTUMER SERVICE!!!!! I have now purchased three vehicles from David McDavid Honda. All have been a pleasent experience. They are freidnly and courteous from sales through service. I bought a 2011 Accord Coupe from this dealership on August 27, 2011. I originally communicated with Sayed via email and set an appointment for 1:30 p.m. When I arrived at that time, he informed me that August 27, 2011. The vehicle was online for $20,000 when I looked at it, but when I got there, the price was changed to $25,000. When I expressed my concern to Sayed, he just said that it was a misprint. However, Godfrie didn't dismiss my concern and I was given the price online that I originally viewed. We paid cash for the vehicle, so we were in and out in about 1 1/2 hours. Godfrie was wonderful to work with and I did not have a complaint. When I got home, I noticed the trunk liner was coming apart, there was a scuff on the front bumper and the "TPMS" sensor came on while I was driving home. I emailed Sayed, as they were already closed and he promptly responded Monday morning to let me know I could bring the vehicle back in and they would correct the problems. I planned to drop my car off at lunchtime on Wednesday, but was asked to bring it in sooner, so I dropped it off Tuesday at lunchtime. I showed Godfrie all of the problems and they were written up. He took me out to my "loaner" vehicle. As I left the dealership, I realized this wasn't a loaner at all. This was a 2009 Accord sedan they were attempting to sell. It had 2 full size sheets of paper taped to the front windshield, hindering my view, 3 different colors of tint on the 5 windows, and the gas light was on. I was furious. I emailed Sayed and informed him of my disappointment and also let him know that, in the future, I would not have my vehicle serviced or repaired there, as the caliber of the "loaner" vehicle I was given was not up to the standards I am used to at other dealerships (Lute Riley Honda, BMW and Nissan). He did not really seem to care. I was told I could pick my vehicle up at 1:00 Thursday. I arrived at 1:15 and waited until 1:45. They finally brought my vehicle up and when I popped the trunk, it hadn't even been fixed. I spoke with the manager who took it directly back to get it fixed, but when I explained how unsatisfied I was regarding my entire 2 day experience, he didn't seem to care either. I was pleased with the purchase of my vehicle, but will never refer anyone there or return there for service. I am used to driving a loaner that is the same caliber or better than my own vehicle and having small problems fixed right the first time. More
