Nothing but great things to say.. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with David McDavid in Irving and our salesman Deepak Khanna. After having gone through sev I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with David McDavid in Irving and our salesman Deepak Khanna. After having gone through several dealerships and experiencing them side by side I can easily say that this was the best and far most productive stop. DP was more than helpful and courteous and made the entire buying process the best experience I've had buying a car ever, used or new. Both Depak on the sales side and Brent Wiggins on the finance side took the time to get exactly what we wanted and in the end got us a better deal than what we thought we could get. Both of them made us feel that they were our advocates and they were. A truly great buying experience all around and I fully recommend them. Deepak, I thank you for your integrity honesty and sense of service, you are truly a blessing. More
Bait and Switch I would not buy here. Called about a vehicle advertised on internet for 16995, was told it was not available that it had been sold... I said ok, I w I would not buy here. Called about a vehicle advertised on internet for 16995, was told it was not available that it had been sold... I said ok, I will try some other options but, then phone consultant said wait no I found it, yes it is available if you want come over. I drive 20m salesperson said that I couldn't drive the car off lot because it hadn't been inspected but, listing online said it was CPO so it should have been cool; 1st clue. it was dirty but still a very nice car, I wanted to buy and said I would take it. Salesperson went away came back 20m said we have a problem, I am not sure what phone consultant told you but the VIN of the car I showed you is different than the one online it was sold. however this car is available for 20k, more than 3k over price and it was not CPO. I said that makes no sense and I wanted a CPO vehicle. They did make a silly offer to CPO it for 1300. So as I started to leave the salesperson stated you are here let me sell you a car. So, I said you have 10m to make it right. I have a 17' CPO Sport, SE with 30k miles for 18k at another dealer. They looked at the listing and said we have the same car here similar miles. Buy from us for 18k. But, it was not a CPO vehicle. I asked for apples to apples and they said they couldn't do it and made a lame offer for the non CPO car for 18k if I paid 1300 for CPO. I packed, thanked them for their time Called Honda of Honda of Fort Worth told them if they would sell me their CPO 17' w/35k that was listed online for 18k i would drive over now and buy it, salesperson said yes, and less than an hour later i signed a contract to buy a very clean car for my son. Very poor experience with David McDavid,The phone consultant knew that car was no longer available and should have never told me it was. Classic BAIT-N-SWITCH at its best, and hope this helps others who go into David McDavid Dealerships. At least the Irving location. Irony is I actually received 2 or 3 emails from a customer service contact saying they were there for me, and for me to call them and tell them what they could do to win my business while I was sitting there with their sales team jerking me around. The answer to what can you do for me would be to try a bit of HONESTY! You had a captivated buyer who was going to buy a car today from someone. I will never return. More

Your money is better spent going to one of the other MANY Honda Dealerships that better represent the brand in the Metroplex. ALSO, don’t believe any website that says you are approved and sends you here. YOU ARE NOT APPROVED. They will pretend like you are throughout the whole process, have you pick out a car, have you add the car to your insurance and then switch on you in financing, tell you the bank came back with some type of new terms based on a “change” in some part of your deal and either ask you for a ridiculous change in down payment, finance terms, monthly payment or require a co-signer at the last minute. DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL!!!!! More

Stay Away From The Used Car Dealership This was the worst car buying experience I have ever experienced. They are liars and their salesmanship is very bad. I went to the dealership at 11:30 This was the worst car buying experience I have ever experienced. They are liars and their salesmanship is very bad. I went to the dealership at 11:30 am, I did not leave the until 3:30pm. I went looking for a use SUV. The sales rep Andrea came out with a Chevrolet car. When I asked about looking and others and SUV, she insisted on me test driving that particular car she pick for me. She told me after we test drive this car, she would let me view other cars. We went on a short test drive and the entire time she was trying to convince me to like that car. WE returned to the dealership, I asked about looking at other cars/SUVs, she made up excuses. I NEVER WAS ABLE TO SEE ANY OTHERS CARS OR SUVs, She immediately started paperwork for that car she picked out for me. That was strange. At about 12:30 pm, she had taken my keys to my car for an appraisal. She never returned my keys to me for 3 hours. They claimed they misplaced my keys and didn't know where they were. But yet, they continue to perceive with the paperwork of the car she wanted me to get and I wasn't even sure about the car. It was like she was forcing me to buy that car. Harassment. I mentioned to them I had to leave at 3 to go pick up my son for school. Around 2:45 I was looking for the finance guy KC, only to find out he had left the building to run personal errand while I sit in his office waiting for him. Then 3:12pm road around and leave out of his office go to the reception asking for her to get when... That is when I found out he was running personal errands. I went back to the use car building to tell Andrea I needed to leave to pick up my child from school and that I needed my keys to my own cars. She told me that my keys were still missing and to just take the car she was trying to get me to buy. I told her I did not want to take that car, I wanted my keys because I had other stuff to do. She went got her manager Steven and he was even worst. He suggest I take his car or have Andrea drive me to the school to pick up my son. I didn't understand how they lost my car key and they were not even interested in finding them after being missing for 3 hours. They were only interested in me driving one of their cars - WHY...that was how they would ensure I came back. I then became very frustrated, upset and angry because I had a little 5 yr old child stuck at school waiting to be picked up and this careless car dealership was giving me the run arounds about MY OWN CAR KEY. I strongly believe they didn't lose my keys, they just wanted to keep me there until I bought a car from them. After being severely upset, almost about to cry because I couldn't leave to get my 5 year old from school, I went out the used car dealership, calling my brother in a panic because these people would not find my key. I was hysterically upset. While on the phone with my brother, Steven (Andrea's Manager) called my cell phone with excitement telling me We got an approval on the car. STILL ONLY CONCERNED about selling the car. I told him I don't have time for nothing and that I needed my keys so I can go get my kid. Then Andrea come outside to give me my car keys to my own car. I took my keys and rush to the school. It was a 40 min drive, then I was stuck in traffic. I was VERY late picking him up. While driving from the school trying to calm down. Andrea calls trying to get a ETA on what time I would be coming back to the dealership to buy the car. My thought was "WHEN IS IT GOING TO STOP!" Total harassment. They are lair and they play games with customers. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK. I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP. More
”Clerical Error” Don’t fall for this sham! Went to Honda of Irving to get a promotional oil change done to end up walking out with a status report with a $174.87 piece Don’t fall for this sham! Went to Honda of Irving to get a promotional oil change done to end up walking out with a status report with a $174.87 piece claimed to be missing! I decided to wait to do my due diligence in researching the claimed to be missing part. When I realized how large this piece was that Honda of Irving was claiming to be missing, I wanted to see if another Honda dealership was being shady. Honda of Fort Worth removed this “missing” piece and took me back to the service floor to actually show me that I was indeed not missing it like I was misinformed. I called Honda of Irving’s Director which he claimed that it was a clerical error then guaranteed 1000% that they would have refunded me my xxxx near $200. Of course, you will give me a guarantee me now that you guys are BUSTED!!! If you go to this location do your RESEARCH before you give them a dime!!! My personal opinion they drive people in with this “phenomenal” promotion to then upcharge you with false claims! More
