Poor communication or bait cars I am a credit union member using their site (powered by TrueCar) for the 2nd time to buy a car. On May 20th I used the site to ID a number of cars I wanted to test drive, including: 1HGCR2F34FA115687 an Accord listed on TrueCar at $15,000 I emailed and called Travis at their Irving Honda store who said it was in stock. I told him I would drive straight their and was on site in in less than 30 minutes. The car was nowhere to be found, the salespersons-Sami and Dash-were kind and apologetic, but could not locate the car, instead showing me a car with more miles, accident history, and $5,000 more. I asked Sami to call me if he could find the car I drove to see. I did not hear back. I texted Travis my disappointment, but did not hear back from him. The store manager, Buck Barton, emailed me that evening, I told him it was not a pleasant experience, but requested he call me if he could find the vehicle I was looking for. He never wrote back. On May 27th I received a promotional email from Dash listing the car above as a special at $14,995.. With frustration, I wrote back that they had either forgotten to call me or were using the car as bait. She never wrote back. Again, using the credit union site on June 3rd, I found the car listed as a "great deal" again as one of the top suggestions, but this time listed at $16,091, almost $1,100 more and at one of their other stores. Running a business that size must be very challenging and communication almost impossible with the number of people they must have coming through. That said, I made an attempt to communicate with them and did not receive a response on from the internet sales director, general manager, and a salesperson. I'd hate to be in a situation where I was in a time crunch to buy from this store. More

Sold an Unsafe vehicle 1. Bought a vehicle for my wife and our newly born baby daughter. 2. Could not drive it home the day I bought it because three service lights were il 1. After more than 7 trips between my house and the dealership (all within 30 days of purchasing), it was clear that the dealership could not fix the problem. It had multiple warning lights illuminate including engine, stability control and TPMS. Three critical issues that can affect safety while driving. 4. The dealership bought the vehicle back from me (for $3600 less than what I paid). They also never refunded my $1000. 5. I had to get another vehicle from them even after losing $4600 because there was NO ONE ELSE WHO WOULD BUY THIS VEHICLE from me with these obvious problems and I could not morally sell it to anyone knowing its unsafe condition. I was cheated, lied to and made feel as though I caused an inconvenience to the dealership. After so many returns, sales employees familiar with my problem did everything to avoid me. I was told at the onset that this was a minor issue that required simple servicing they could easily fix and is why I decided to purchase the car. I have lost $4600 because the options made by this dealership was in their favor. Bottom line - please be very careful here. There are so many other dealership options you can chose from - I strongly recommend that you stay away from this place. They will take advantage of you, take your money and then make it seem as though you are the one that has done something wrong. It is unjust and I still today remain with the feeling of hopelessness, frustration, anger because I was cheated. I have emailed many senior managers at the dealership in an attempt to respectfully argue my case but have received no response to date (5/7/2017). More

Instead of showing me the car he started asking me the questions of how my credit was blah blah blah. Then tells me to fill out a paper with my info. I told him I don't want to run my credit at all I just want to see the car first. He kept insisting stating they were not gonna run it that his manager was just gonna look they my info but assured me 100% it would not show up on my credit. After several requests I budged and filled it out. Then he came back to ask me for down payment. I told him I want to see the car first. And while waiting I got an email that they ran my credit after them saying they were not. Of course I was furious and when I called the manager to advise him he told he that mike did not lie to me. In other words he called me a liar as well. Will never do business with them be careful they like to deceive people More
Jesse Esquival Made Our Purchase Quick and Easy Long Time Honda Buyer but this time our usual dealership showed no interest in giving us a price on another new car. They quoted the list price and showed no interest in finding the car for us. So, we dealt with a different dealership and found it was our best Honda buying experience ever! We researched online and knew what we wanted and knew the price that would make both the dealership and us happy. After requesting buying information from our USAA Insurance, we were contacted by Ronnie Meyers and Jesse Esquivel from David McDavis of Irving. They had the car in the color and with the accessories we wanted. They offered a great Drive Out Price on our EX-L V6 and indicated “the figures will not change when you arrive.” They were true to their word! We concluded the transaction in record time and were driving the car home before we knew it. Jesse Esquival handled the actual transaction for us and did so efficiently. Everyone we met at the dealership was friendly and caring and it was so nice to know before we reached our face-to-face meeting exactly how much we were going to spend. Thank you Jesse and Ronnie. My last two Honda's were bought from this dealership. I will not set foot there again. I left their dealership and drove to Huggins Honda and received the exact deal I wanted. I really wanted to buy from McDavid because of my prior purchases and the convenience. I went in on a Tuesday, rainy night, and was given numbers that were $500.00 from what I wanted for my trade-in. I left to go home and think about it. The following Thursday morning I went in to buy the vehicle I wanted, and we had discussed Tuesday night. I was prepared to accept their offer on my vehicle, but instead I was told they were giving me $2,000.00 dollars less for my truck. Something about their buyer late Tuesday night had backed out, but they would look around and try to find another buyer. Suggested that I go down the street and and see What Texas Auto Traders would give me. The offered to buy on the spot for $250.00 more than I was offered Tuesday night. Could not sell to them because I had nothing to drive home in. The vehicle I wanted was a low production (they did not have the vehicle and was not expected for another week and a half). I don't know this but I assume they were offered above list and they took it. More
