Clearly advised I was not interested to what he said don't worry pay your first monthly payment and come to the dealer to cancel it. As instructed after my first payment went to the dealer, signed the form to cancel everything and Omar advised a refund will be given. After two months with no response or refund returned to the dealer for answers to what he said that the signed form has been sitting on his boss desk all this time. I requested to speak to a manager and never show up to talk about the lies and lack of customer service and trust. They had the audacity to send a sales man to assist me instead of a manager who I was requesting. At the end, Omar comes to tell me he send the form. Liars and more liars...here I am still waiting for my refund. More
I don’t trust David McDavid Irving Texas I purchased a I don’t trust David McDavid Irving Texas I purchased a 2014 Honda Accord January 31,2019. I was told I had 100.000 miles warranty. I found out that I don’t trust David McDavid Irving Texas I purchased a 2014 Honda Accord January 31,2019. I was told I had 100.000 miles warranty. I found out that wasn’t true. On January 31,2020 my check engine light started flashing on and off. I stopped at Denny’s to pick up breakfast. When I got back in the car the car would not start. I try several times but it would not start. It was 4 am I set in the car until a coworker picked me up at 5:15 am I went on to work and left my car in Denny's parking lot.I came back at 1:15pm I started my car the radio & lights was working but the car stopped running. When the tow truck driver came I tried to started again but it would not start. After waiting on the service man to check my car Uy tell me my battery is dead, I need brake pads and new tires.. brakes and tire don’t have anything to do with my car starting. Uy later in formed me the fuel injector went out filled the cylinder and flooded the spark plugs, Uy stated every time they tried to start the car gas flowed out to the ground. Uy state’s the motor was good that nothing was wrong with the motor. I inform Uy that I did not experience gas flowing on the ground when I tried to start the car I also inform Uy I had 100.000 miles warranty on my car. Day later Uy informed me the car need a starter then later Uy informed me the motor was not good and I needed a new motor. I had this car 1 year 1 year I purchased this car from David McDavid. How can all this be wrong with a car 1 year after you purchased. I didn’t have a slow start a slow drag lights worked radio worked. No problems. David McDavid what did you do? What didn’t you do? I year to date and all this??? What kind of cars are you selling? What services are you making up. This is unbelievable. More
Do not buy from this car dealership as they are rude, liars and scammers. I went to trade my vehicle honda to get an updated one. I went in thinking I would get the same salesman that I have had in the p liars and scammers. I went to trade my vehicle honda to get an updated one. I went in thinking I would get the same salesman that I have had in the past but that salesman was busy. Another salesman assisted me and i decided after a while that i did not want a car from this dealership since this salemsan kept informing me he was new and needed the sale. The manager Kirby Jackson attempted to help the salesman with bargaining with me so they would not lose my business but i wanted to check out other dealership. The manager informed me if i returned back to the dealership to get a vehicle that he would give me another $2000 towards my trade after other dealerships was wanting to give me more for my trade. I decided to come back to Honda as I had good service with them in the past and wanted to be loyal to Honda. The old salesman that i had in the past was still busy so they sent me some young salesman to assist and i wish i just left instead of going through with buying a new vehicle since i know car some salesman and managers are sneaky and conniving. I should went with my instinct. I found a vehicle that showed an online price for $17000 with low miles so i bought this in and plus informed that the manager stated if i come back to purchase a vehicle that he would give me $8000 for my trade instead of $6000. I added in the certified warranty which was another $1695 added to the car so i should have come out with roughly only owning $16000 for the car after tax, title and license and a few extra things added in finance dept but instead it came out to $20000 for the car and i kept telling the guy in fiance that the numbers was off. It started to get late and the kids were acting up so i figured i would come back the following business day. I was unable to come back the following business day but spoke with the salesman and was trying to get an upstanding on the mix up. While talking to him, the rude, arrogant, cocky and aggressive manager kept interrupting so i continued to state that i was missing the additional $2000 off of the sales price but was ignored and informed that he did not know what i was speaking of. I decided rhe next day to go to the dealership to bring the car back since i did not want to do busy with them for being deceitful. I was told by the manager that my car was sold, it had been day 4 of having the new vehicle and they were not taking the car back nor was they going to allow me to back out of a deal. The old car salesman came to assist as i attempted to tell him and he kept saying he apologized and had nothing to do with what originally happened aa he was trying to cover his xxx. I was taken over to finance as the very friendly finance guy assisted with what he could to bring the cost of the car down so that he would not lose my business, i was so upset and pissed at myself for being scammed the way i was and should have listened to my instinct. The salesman was able to work some magic but that waa beside the point since sales should have stuck to their word as i was getting great deals elsewhere but was being liloyal to honda and i got xxxxed. Days later i was contacted by salesman asking me to bring in my vehicle to register my warranty which again was a big mistake. I go to drop off the vehicle as arranged and no one was at the dealership so i had to wait and hour for assistance which while waiting, i went to service to ask about certifying the warranty and was informed that the car is certified once it arrives on their lot. I decided to still wait to leave the vehicle. I went inside as soon as rhe doors opened and there was no paperwork completed so i could just sign, get a loaner car and go so i ended up at the dealership for another 30 minutes. In the midst of waiting for loaner car then young salesman informing that "girl" is there and was attempting to say more about the attitude i gave him due to everything being unprofessional but the old salesman informed him that he was on speaker so the car was ended. Everything was done for the loaner car so i went to work after being an hour and half late. The next day i went to drop off loaner car and pick up my car and no one had service paperwork to provide so i waa informed to go to service since they may have it. Service informed and showed their computer screen that they have not done any work on the car since 01/02. The service manager went to sales to see what was going on and see why they did not give me paperwork. The service man come meet back with me in service lobby and stated sales had the paperwork. I go back to sales, got pissed off again for being yo yo around. The young service guy gave me paperwork from when the car was serviced on 01/02. The paperwork had miles on it from when the car was serviced on 01/02 and it had a date of the day i picked up the car which had been made 5 minutes prior to me meeting up with salesman. Salesman seen how pissed i was and apologized stated he only does what his manager inform him of what to do. I informed the salesman of the xx, informed i would never come back to the dealership and asked what was done to my car. I informed how i did not believe him and accused them of possibly jacking up my car as he attempted to reassure but i did not believe one word. Be aware and do not go here!! They are scammers and you will get xxxxed around. More
Scam Masters I had very bad experience with them. They send me offer when I requested a quote from the truecar. I received a phone call from them and I requested I had very bad experience with them. They send me offer when I requested a quote from the truecar. I received a phone call from them and I requested to send out the door price. They sent me details over text and confirmed price on the phone as well. I went to dealership that evening and they did not honor price they sent me over email and text. Instead they totally denied the fact that they sent me price over email/text. When I showed them details their answer was they have internet helpdesk and guy that sent me the price must be smoking something. They did not even apologies on what happened instead they were very rude on me and my friend. I will never go to this dealership again. More
Bait and switch OR extreme ineptitude I found a vehicle listed by David McDavid at $17.4k on Autotrader, their own website, and even FB marketplace. I went in with intent to buy (cash) on I found a vehicle listed by David McDavid at $17.4k on Autotrader, their own website, and even FB marketplace. I went in with intent to buy (cash) on this used vehicle. Before even making an offer, I was brought into their sales manager's office. He said he wanted to earn my business! I thought "great, he's going to give me an even lower price than their list." Instead, he attempted to explain that the internet price was all some wild mistake and that the real price was $21k. But that he really wanted to earn my business, so he'd split the difference with me and meet me at $18.8k. This ad had been on the internet (across multiple listing sites) for days if not weeks at this price. This is the very definition of a bait and switch. Or perhaps it was just extreme ineptitude. Beware to any potential buyers when the sales managers use tactics like these! There were several other things that contributed to this bad experience, but the predominant one was the dishonesty about the price and the subsequent inflexibility (as though honoring their listed price was them being flexible on price and doing me a favor). This all made for a very bad experience. Robert was helpful and seemed genuine, but was overruled by his sketchy sales manager. Go somewhere else. More

Nothing but great things to say.. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with David McDavid in Irving and our salesman Deepak Khanna. After having gone through sev I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with David McDavid in Irving and our salesman Deepak Khanna. After having gone through several dealerships and experiencing them side by side I can easily say that this was the best and far most productive stop. DP was more than helpful and courteous and made the entire buying process the best experience I've had buying a car ever, used or new. Both Depak on the sales side and Brent Wiggins on the finance side took the time to get exactly what we wanted and in the end got us a better deal than what we thought we could get. Both of them made us feel that they were our advocates and they were. A truly great buying experience all around and I fully recommend them. Deepak, I thank you for your integrity honesty and sense of service, you are truly a blessing. More
Bait and Switch I would not buy here. Called about a vehicle advertised on internet for 16995, was told it was not available that it had been sold... I said ok, I w I would not buy here. Called about a vehicle advertised on internet for 16995, was told it was not available that it had been sold... I said ok, I will try some other options but, then phone consultant said wait no I found it, yes it is available if you want come over. I drive 20m salesperson said that I couldn't drive the car off lot because it hadn't been inspected but, listing online said it was CPO so it should have been cool; 1st clue. it was dirty but still a very nice car, I wanted to buy and said I would take it. Salesperson went away came back 20m said we have a problem, I am not sure what phone consultant told you but the VIN of the car I showed you is different than the one online it was sold. however this car is available for 20k, more than 3k over price and it was not CPO. I said that makes no sense and I wanted a CPO vehicle. They did make a silly offer to CPO it for 1300. So as I started to leave the salesperson stated you are here let me sell you a car. So, I said you have 10m to make it right. I have a 17' CPO Sport, SE with 30k miles for 18k at another dealer. They looked at the listing and said we have the same car here similar miles. Buy from us for 18k. But, it was not a CPO vehicle. I asked for apples to apples and they said they couldn't do it and made a lame offer for the non CPO car for 18k if I paid 1300 for CPO. I packed, thanked them for their time Called Honda of Honda of Fort Worth told them if they would sell me their CPO 17' w/35k that was listed online for 18k i would drive over now and buy it, salesperson said yes, and less than an hour later i signed a contract to buy a very clean car for my son. Very poor experience with David McDavid,The phone consultant knew that car was no longer available and should have never told me it was. Classic BAIT-N-SWITCH at its best, and hope this helps others who go into David McDavid Dealerships. At least the Irving location. Irony is I actually received 2 or 3 emails from a customer service contact saying they were there for me, and for me to call them and tell them what they could do to win my business while I was sitting there with their sales team jerking me around. The answer to what can you do for me would be to try a bit of HONESTY! You had a captivated buyer who was going to buy a car today from someone. I will never return. More
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE BUYER BEWARE!!! They practice all the tactics that make the car buying process greasy and slimy!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM DAVID MCDAVID!!! Your money is b BUYER BEWARE!!! They practice all the tactics that make the car buying process greasy and slimy!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM DAVID MCDAVID!!! Your money is better spent going to one of the other MANY Honda Dealerships that better represent the brand in the Metroplex. ALSO, don’t believe any website that says you are approved and sends you here. YOU ARE NOT APPROVED. They will pretend like you are throughout the whole process, have you pick out a car, have you add the car to your insurance and then switch on you in financing, tell you the bank came back with some type of new terms based on a “change” in some part of your deal and either ask you for a ridiculous change in down payment, finance terms, monthly payment or require a co-signer at the last minute. DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL!!!!! More
