Lease Offer In spite of the criticism related to my experience, the owner made no excuses, and was quick to respond, and apologize, to me personally, for the way In spite of the criticism related to my experience, the owner made no excuses, and was quick to respond, and apologize, to me personally, for the way that my day at the showroom was handled. This deserves an honest, and justified, bump up in my initial rating . After reading his response to me, it is apparent that the owner is dedicated to his business, and takes great pride in the way his client's are treated. In addition, since this dealership is close by, I will be giving the service center a try, despite this bad first experience that I had with sales staff. The buying experience I had here was hardly average with the sales and finance team. Practically everything I said, or wanted, was negatively responded to. I was told that "car buyers do not have as much wiggle room as they think". When I mentioned KBB, which by the way is a clearly displayed as a resource on this dealerships website, I was told that "you can't always go by KBB". The original Lease offer, and only one I bothered to look at, only dropped the MSRP by $900 - when it is quite obvious that surrounding dealerships are dropping MSRP by $3000. When I asked to view the sticker at the start of my test drive the salesman said "I'm going to tell you about it". I had to ask twice to see it. The test drive was rushed, the car was already started, and I never really had a chance to look at the trunk size, or sit in the back seat. I am always surprised - in this day and age - that sales and/or finance people would say such silly things like, "KBB isn't always accurate", or, "car buyers do not have as much wiggle too as they think." My time is valuable, and the first offer, should be the best offer! More
