So there I was It was a typical Friday morning commute down a major interstate until a warning light went off and said one of my tires was low. Strange, I thought, because the car was served less than a week ago and the tire pressure was checked. Keep driving, I thought to myself, because this is probably an example of my car being overly sensitive. I wish. In a matter of minutes, the PSI on my tire went from 28 to 26 to 21 to 20...Clearly, something was wrong. As I manged to pull over the PSI rapidly went from 18 to 6 in a few seconds and I was driving on the rim. I wasn't about to call my father or brothers because I just couldn't face the lecture on how a single woman ought to know how to change a tire. So I called the only guys I thought would help me and not make me feel stupid: The service department at the David dealership. Andrew gave me the name of a towing company and, within an hour, I was standing in front of time telling him I was certain I'd new a new tire, which I did. Easy, quick and painless My husband and I knew we wanted a Jeep but we weren't sure which one to choose. It was a Saturday morning and even though it was crowded already, everyone was so friendly. Steve Ellis, with his big smile and casual manner, won us over right away. He gave me a bottle of water and a box of chocolates for Mother's Day. My husband was able to test drive the three Jeeps that he was interested in and we choose the 2014 Patriot. I wanted Navy Blue and I got my wish. The process went very smoothly and we were on our way by lunchtime, with our new car. On his way to work a few days earlier, my husband was hit by a drunk driver and our car was totaled. We were not planning on buying a new car for another year or so. There were times in the past when we purchased a car (from other dealers) where we sat in the dealership for hours waiting on numerous people to talk to. Not this time.
