Words cannot even scratch the surface of how disappointed I am with my certified preowned Compass and the service department. The primary reason for the service was not addressed, other than plugging it in I am with my certified preowned Compass and the service department. The primary reason for the service was not addressed, other than plugging it in to the computer to say there's nothing wrong with it, and a short drive around the block. While at cruising speed, all I have to do is come upon a slight incline, & the car bucks like there's no tomorrow... sometimes for as long as half a mile at a time, sometimes for only a few seconds. It may be the CVT contributing to its "efficiency" or something else that keeps telling it that it's in the wrong gear, but it's not right... and I'm tired of being told that there's nothing wrong with it. I'm calling BS on that. You inspected it, like it should have been done before delivery, and everything seems to be fine, with the exception of the brakes. They work fine most of the time; however since the inspection, I've had to apply the brakes abruptly a few times, and that's when there's a spine-chilling grinding noise. I'm hoping it wasn't "lick 'em & stick 'em" when it came to the inspection. Only part of the oxidation repair was done along the front edge of the hood. Getting the car washed was a nice gesture, thank you; however no one mentioned that you would be detailing the interior, as well.... or I would have prepared for that. I did not appreciate getting into my car to find all of my personal belongings stuffed into a trash bag, lottery tickets missing, the ungodly stench of multiple sinus burning air fresheners, and having to go back into the detailing department to recover my magnet. I guess the only thing that I was satisfied with in this whole experience, was the loaner. You came through on that one. More

Frankly, I am not a fan of the car buy sales person and we would highly recommend dealing with him if you are interested in anything at David Dodge. I always think they are out to "get us", pull a quick one, be deceptive, etc. etc. But I know, without a doubt, that Gary got us a GREAT deal on a great used truck. There was no pressure, he answered all our questions, and worked hard to get us the deal we wanted. We will definitely deal with Gary any time we are looking to purchase a vehicle and so should you. I honestly believe that his passion for his work is innate, and that he gives 100% to each and every assignment he is given. That's why I travel nearly 2 hours to get my service done at David Dodge rather than a dealership 7 miles from my residence. While I was there I spoke with Jim Atkins, the dealership's manager. I have purchased numerous vehicles from David Dodge, and send all my friends there too, because of the friendly environment and great prices. From the moment you arrive, until the moment you leave, you are treated with respect by each and every employee. Mr. Atkins was very busy and was a bit under the weather, but regardless, he assisted me and went above and beyond to make me happy. He's a great guy, and I suggest if you go to the dealership, introduce yourself to him. My salesperson of choice is Brian Francis, and he can answer ANY question regarding their extensive product line. Jason Finlay who oversees used vehicles, was also a tremendous help yesterday. Yes, I am going to buy yet another vehicle from David Dodge! Their inventory of certified, use and new cars is outstanding.
