I was just writing commending about the workers at Dave Mungenast new car dealer and a saleman/friend I was rating. While I have this site up I will go ahead and share about my recent service experience at Mungenast new car dealer and a saleman/friend I was rating. While I have this site up I will go ahead and share about my recent service experience at the used car side where I have my vehicle (not a Honda) serviced. I took my car to the local dealer where the Co. car is from a year ago but was not happy with the treatment I received there. After feeling like a number at that other dealer (not a Honda) down the street and not getting the work that I had asked for done right I left. I went a few blocks to my beloved Dave Mungenast Honda dealer. They gladly pointed me to Honda used car dealer that deals with other cars aside from Honda's . I was told they would maintain my new Co. car. After they did their research right there on their computer and put schedules adapted to this my vehicle I was set..Wow, that's service !! They have all been great here at the used car dealer (by the Golden Corral side of S.Lindbergh). My recent service adviser is Micah Gierse, a super friendly young man. He really loves what he does and is so very helpful and friendly. After Micah takes care of your car needs you leave with a smile and feel good about how you were treated. You know how you feel when you get bad service at the restaurant, and it ruins your day after you leave. Well after Micah takes care of you, you go out feeling good about things and the day goes great because the domino affect seems to just work out. Thanks Micah (give this guy a bonus or something) for a job well done. You guys are great !! More
I feel so secure dealing with St. Louis Honda. I know that they are looking out for what is good for my Honda and I. I trust Chris to let me know when my Van is due for what services. Very accommodating and professional without being "cold". Very honest and forthright. Explained every thing and answered all questions satisfactorily and knowledgeably. Took the time to call and report results and progress on car repair. Mechanic worked with extended warranty company with true professionalism. This was an entirely satisfying experience that I have come to expect from Honda professionals. Will be recommending Mungenast Honda to all my "Facebook" friends, other friends, and family. GREAT DEALERSHIP!!!!! More

I purchased the vehicle on 1-6-2012 and presented the dealership with two problems on 1-16-2012 only to be told that 1. the owner's manual says you will have the 1st problem (nonconstant cruise control s dealership with two problems on 1-16-2012 only to be told that 1. the owner's manual says you will have the 1st problem (nonconstant cruise control speeds especially when driving with the "econ" button on), 2. designed as is and can't be modified (design defect in center brake light emitting reflected light); Other vehicles I have own theoretically of lesser quality than Honda do not have either of these problems. Very dissatisiied and would NOT recommend either 1. a Honda vehicle, or 2. this dealership More
I had a flat tire so I went to this Honda dealer to get it fixed and had my 70.000 miles service done. I had the 70.000 service completed, however since the tire prices were so much higher than NTB, I deci it fixed and had my 70.000 miles service done. I had the 70.000 service completed, however since the tire prices were so much higher than NTB, I decided to go to NTB for my tire change. At Mungenast, they patched up my flat tire (rotated it so that it was not at the front) and I drove to NTB. After getting new tires, then my car started pulling to the right. I called Mungenast to figure out why my car may be pulling to the right because in the end they did the rotation. And they told me in order to figure this out I need to go in and pay $160 in diagnostic tests! Are you kidding me? And they started blaming it on the NTB guys because they did something wrong... In any case, I got the problem fixed by the great help of NTB, it may be a discount tire store, but in terms of customer service they were way better than Munganest, they tasted the alignment and everything for free and put the tires in a way to reduce the pulling to the right. In the meantime, I complained to the Mungenast customer service department, they said a supervisor was to call me, but no surprise, no-one called me back. Horrible customer service in my opinion... I want to give you some feedback on how excellent your Service Advisors are. My experiences with all of them have always been terrific, so kudos to each of them. Furthermore, on my recent visit for multiple services on my CRV, I was under Gary Opitz's care and advisement. He is probably one of the most professional, respectful, and action-oriented people I have ever interacted with. He is extremely knowledgeable, he ensures I understand everything, he explains the options, he works with me, and I trust him. He is so competent, that I always follow his advisement when it comes to my vehicle. Please remember, I have had great experiences with all your service advisors, and should have written a commendation or two before now, but I just spent a thousand dollars to get a lot of necessary work done on my 2002 CRV, and I am happy about it! I love my vehicle, and that Gary and all your Service Advisor's, 'have my back'. One final note, imagine your Service Center extremely busy, and Gary multi-tasking at Roadrunner grace and speed... well as I, or any client stands at the service desks, in a nanosecond Gary returns to the serene pace with the client, as if the place was slow as molasses and you are the only client. That's just brilliant. I don't know how he does that, but the way he handles heavy traffic in the Service center is that of a natural born leader. Please commend him on his excellence. More
