Gary treated me with respect and excellent product knowledge. I spoke to Gary last March, during routine maintenance and liked him so much I asked for him for my last service, just last week. He is helpful and treats customers like they deserve to be treated. I will be asking for Gary for all my future needs. Service is a great way to keep a customer. Honda's are a great product but with advisor's like Gary, it's a good way to ensure customers stay in a Honda and it means a lot. Thanks Gary. More

Sometimes I felt like "they could see me comin' ", and possibly not be so honest. However, I don't feel that way at Mungenast Honda. Gave me great service during an emergency (lost most of braking ability) and determined no additional work necessary after car cooled down. I was only charged for labor for inspection (removing rear drums and finding all pads, drums, cables and fluid were good). Service Advisor Chris Taylor was extremely patient and polite when reviewing potential damage and cost prior to inspection of the car. And the Mechanic Tracy (Tech) was thorough and checked everything. They didn't charge me for anything I did not need. What Happened: I unknowingly drove with my emergency brake partially on, and suddenly, about 3 blocks from my home, lost about 90 percent of my braking ability. Managed to park at home safely and immediately called Service Advisor Chris Taylor at Mungenast Honda. I was upset and wanted to bring in the car the next day but didn't know what time as towing company only does two hour windows. Chris told me to bring in my car any time the next day. Before I hung up, we discussed potential damage and cost regarding brake pads, rear drums etc. When I arrived the next day with the tow, Chris and I again discussed potential damage and cost, and said within the hour would have determination of needed repairs. Well, within the hour, they had determined no repairs were necessary. Driving with the emergency brake on had heated the pads and made them too soft. But no permanent damage! I have been going to Mungenast St. Louis Honda for several years now and they have my trust. More
The service department is exceptional! It is one of the main reasons we purchase our cars here. They were not only on time in taking the car in for service, they finished ahead of time and called my wife's main reasons we purchase our cars here. They were not only on time in taking the car in for service, they finished ahead of time and called my wife's cell. When she walked in, the service adviser recognized her, grabbed the keys and had someone pull the car around for her. He opened the door for her, took out the paper mats and seat covers they had used to keep the car clean during service and she was on her way. Service is always excellent here and they out did themselves this time. More
I went to the center to see if someone could help me enter my new iPhone into my car.. Gina came to my car (very cold day) and sat with me, teaching me how to do the process, enter speed dialing names, enter my new iPhone into my car.. Gina came to my car (very cold day) and sat with me, teaching me how to do the process, enter speed dialing names, and a few other features with it. I told her I was clueless about many things with the new phone and I noticed she had an iPhone also. I asked her how to use some of the features on the phone. She took about a good 20-30 minutes with me downloading the phone and all involved with it, plus helping me with the iPhone. Thanks for your friendliness and patience! It means a lot to me to have good service! I have been with Dave Mungenast for 8 years --love them! More

After a round trip to Toronto Canada, our 12 year old Honda Accord developed a severe oil leak. We checked the Service Department and Brian Johnson was not working that day but was due back the next Honda Accord developed a severe oil leak. We checked the Service Department and Brian Johnson was not working that day but was due back the next morning. We had the car towed over that afternoon and husband was there the next morning to explain the problem to Brian. He also suggested that the car be pushed into the service center since the dip stick registered no oil. As usual, Brian provided excellent service. By 2 that afternoon, the problem was taken care of and all repairs made. As stated in a previous review, we will only deal with Brian and have always had excellent, dependable service at a reasonable price. Over the years, we have been totally satisfied with the service at Munganast St Louis Honda and especially totally satisfied with Brian's excellent work. As long as Brian Johnson is working for Munganast St Louis Honda, I am sure we will have many, many more years of service out of our 12 year old Honda Accord. JBC More
We have purchased two new Honda Odysseys from Mike Hillis over the past 12 years and one used Honda Accord from another salesman who I cannot remeber his name 10 years ago. We have always been satisfied with the deals we were given. We always take our Hondas back to St. Louis Honda for service and have been very satisfied with the overall service we have received. The latest service was on our 2005 Honda Odyssey which needed body repair to the right front bumper that was damaged in the car wash. The same car developed a significant leak in the radiator when we picked it up and the service department made a replacement of the radiator and did some touch up on a scratch on the right rear bumper. All work was done promptly and well thanks to the cooperation of the service manager. More

The one and ONLY service advisor that we use is Brian Johnson. We question why he is not listed with other employees on the Mungenast Employee page since we have been coming to Brian for years. If there is something not working correctly and Brian has his time off, we will not schedule an appointment with anyone else. BRIAN IS THE ONLY SERVICE ADVISOR WE WILL USE AND WE WILL WAIT UNTIL HE IS BACK FROM HIS DAYS OFF. BRIAN JOHNSON CAN BE TRUSTED TO BE COMPLETELY HONEST ABOUT WHAT IS WRONG with a car. He also EXPLAINS IN PLAIN EVERYDAY LANGUAGE what needs to be done and never resorts to mechanical garble de gook. Even an older woman like myself, who has no mechanical aptitude can clearly understand what needs to be repaired and what it will cost. We have often recommended Brian and will continue to do so. Everyone who has received our recommendation is as pleased with Brian as we are. More

So I searched for another dealership: Web reviews, Better Business Bureau, and friends reviews. Found St Louis Mungenast Honda. But Mungenast Honda still had to prove themselves to me. I just wanted good, honest, professional and friendly service. Previously I had completed all oil changes and scheduled tune ups and services. However, Hondas are really good cars and I had not spent very much on replacing parts and I knew, after ten years, I would have to start spending some bucks. This is why I recommend this dealership: Over the last two years, Mungenast Honda service included replacing the brake pads (for the first time),fixing oil leaks, and the 100,000 mile service. During each visit Service Advisor Chris Taylor always greets me, reviews all work needed, supplies me with any coupons and answers ALL my questions regarding price and what is needed to maintain my Honda. We also review after the work is done. So during these last three years, because of Chris Taylor, and the wonderful Service department and Body Shop, have come to trust this dealership. Also love the many amenities included, such as doughnuts, free car washes, loaner cars and a shuttle service for drop offs and pickups while you wait. This is a 5 star experience. More
