I purchased the vehicle on 1-6-2012 and presented the dealership with two problems on 1-16-2012 only to be told that 1. the owner's manual says you will have the 1st problem (nonconstant cruise control s dealership with two problems on 1-16-2012 only to be told that 1. the owner's manual says you will have the 1st problem (nonconstant cruise control speeds especially when driving with the "econ" button on), 2. designed as is and can't be modified (design defect in center brake light emitting reflected light); Other vehicles I have own theoretically of lesser quality than Honda do not have either of these problems. I had a flat tire so I went to this Honda dealer to get it fixed and had my 70.000 miles service done. I had the 70.000 service completed, however since the tire prices were so much higher than NTB, I deci it fixed and had my 70.000 miles service done. I had the 70.000 service completed, however since the tire prices were so much higher than NTB, I decided to go to NTB for my tire change. At Mungenast, they patched up my flat tire (rotated it so that it was not at the front) and I drove to NTB. After getting new tires, then my car started pulling to the right. I called Mungenast to figure out why my car may be pulling to the right because in the end they did the rotation. And they told me in order to figure this out I need to go in and pay $160 in diagnostic tests! Are you kidding me? And they started blaming it on the NTB guys because they did something wrong... In any case, I got the problem fixed by the great help of NTB, it may be a discount tire store, but in terms of customer service they were way better than Munganest, they tasted the alignment and everything for free and put the tires in a way to reduce the pulling to the right. In the meantime, I complained to the Mungenast customer service department, they said a supervisor was to call me, but no surprise, no-one called me back. Horrible customer service in my opinion... I want to give you some feedback on how excellent your Service Advisors are. My experiences with all of them have always been terrific, so kudos to each of them. Furthermore, on my recent visit for multiple services on my CRV, I was under Gary Opitz's care and advisement. He is probably one of the most professional, respectful, and action-oriented people I have ever interacted with. He is extremely knowledgeable, he ensures I understand everything, he explains the options, he works with me, and I trust him. He is so competent, that I always follow his advisement when it comes to my vehicle. Please remember, I have had great experiences with all your service advisors, and should have written a commendation or two before now, but I just spent a thousand dollars to get a lot of necessary work done on my 2002 CRV, and I am happy about it! I love my vehicle, and that Gary and all your Service Advisor's, 'have my back'. One final note, imagine your Service Center extremely busy, and Gary multi-tasking at Roadrunner grace and speed... well as I, or any client stands at the service desks, in a nanosecond Gary returns to the serene pace with the client, as if the place was slow as molasses and you are the only client. That's just brilliant. I don't know how he does that, but the way he handles heavy traffic in the Service center is that of a natural born leader. Please commend him on his excellence. More
I recently bought my car from Mark Wichman. I had a very good experience.But when it started acting up i took it to the service department to get it checked out. Brett Mathis was the man I spoke to. He told me that the test to diagnose my car would take an hour or so, so I had someone pick me up and I told him to call me when it was done. I got a call like 3 hours later telling me it was all done. So I went to the dealership to pick it up. He told me that he performed the test and he told me what was wrong. Then he told me he couldnt do anything til monday because my warranty company wasnt open til monday.I said ok. Then he told me that I could pay the 89.95 today that way on monday when I brough my car back I would only have to pay 10.00 for the rest of my deductable for my warranty or if it wasnt covered the diagnoses was taken care of. So of course I paid it. I asked if there was anyway I could get a loaner car because my car likes to sparaticaly die while I am driving, he told me that he couldnt do that so I just took my car home. So I was talking to mark my salesman and he told me that Brett told him that he couldnt diagnose it. When mark asked him why he said I didnt have an appointment. First off I made my appointment on Wednesday May 4, 2011 for Saturaday May 7,2011 when I initially brought it in. So I DID HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!!!! And he told me he DID diagnose it. So which is it, he DID or he DIDNT diagnose it???? I am not sure I trust the service department anymore. And if the Mungenast Family likes to hire people like BRETT MATHIS I think I will probably take my business soemwhere else. More

This is the first time I have ever taken the time to write a review about a car buying experience, but I was so inspired by the “Royal” treatment I received at the dealership that I felt that other people needed to hear. This was, by far, the most “painless” new car purchase I have ever made. I would like to take a moment to mention how much I enjoyed working with Paul Hartge and his handling of every aspect of the purchase. Paul is a seasoned professional who knows the product line well but more than that, he adds a personal touch that made me glad I chose Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda. I had a 50,000 mile maintanence done (the check engine light pops on for this), for my 2005 CRV. This includes an oil change and tire rotation. The Mungenast service team failed to rotate my tires. I marked my tires with chalk and wrote down distinguishing marks of each of my tires and where they were positioned. If they fail to do something as simple as rotate tires I would be very leary of other work. I don't even trust that they changed my oil. More
