I Tuesday 5/9 I brought my Civic type r in for it to be detailed really good. It wasn’t done really good though!,,, it was excellent. I forgot to take some things out of the car, and they folded these thin detailed really good. It wasn’t done really good though!,,, it was excellent. Last April I took my Fit in for service and was told that the left rear shock was leaking. I subsequently took the car to a local shop I've been using for years to have the rear shocks replaced because the d the left rear shock was leaking. I subsequently took the car to a local shop I've been using for years to have the rear shocks replaced because the dealer wanted $500 to replace ONE shock absorber. The local shop replaced both shocks for a little over $200. Last week I took the same car into St. Louis Honda to get an oil change with a coupon I had received from them. When I was checking out I was told that my left rear shock was "starting to leak". I called the local shop and was told they would replace the shock if it was defective. I took the car back to the local shop this week and the owner called me shortly thereafter and said both he and one of his mechanics could find NO evidence that the shock was leaking. I've been going to this shop for years and trust them implicitly. I have purchased three vehicles from this dealership but will NOT be returning to St. Louis Honda for service or anything else. This kind of "service" is inexcusable. My policy with car service providers, given what they charge, is "one strike and you're out".... More
We have been with Dave Mungenast Honda since 2002 and have been extremely impressed with the team’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for its customers. A yardstick i use to measure a company’s mettle is how the company treats you after a vehicle is sold: the part department, service and collision center, etc. i can say on every front, DM Honda is top notch. I cannot say enough about this enterprise. Our go-to man on advice for anything and everything for our Pilot and Cr-V is Gary Opitz in Service. He is without question the most professional and genuine car guy we have ever had the privilege of doing business with. As a 30 yr military vet, stationed in all parts of the country, we have worked with dozens of Honda Reps and i can say he is the best of them!
