My mothers car was totaled and we wanted to buy a used car that had very good visibility, smaller in size and easy to handle. I thought I would try calling my Honda dealership and ask one of the salespersons I had met while having my car serviced. I call Shan Herwig and she was way more than helpful. My mother and I went to the dealership and test drove several cars, spending several hours with Shan. She was very helpful and was trying her best to help us find the right car for my mom. We left that evening with a pretty good idea that we wanted one of two cars. The next morning we returned and test drove both cars and picked one. Shan went to bat for us in negotiating and getting a great price for the car. Mom was having some major physical issues at the time. Shan has kept in contact to see how she is doing etc.. Shan is one of those special people who really care. More
I owned my 2009 Civic for 9 months, and grew tired of being uncomfortable due to lack of leg room. I'm a tall guy that requires more space than average. With that in mind, I contacted the person who sold me the Civic and explained my goal-to upgrade to an Accord to get a bigger car. We talked about the upside-down financing situation, but my salesperson assured me that he would do everything he could to get me into a new Accord. The deal turned out so well that I had an offer I couldn't refuse, and a car with so many more features than just more leg room that I had to sign for only a little more $$ each month. My wife and I purchased a new Honda CR-V yesterday. We originally met with Mike Hillis and he basically sold us on the vehicle. He was very informed about the vehicle and was very helpful and patient in answering our questions (even though he knew we were not buying that day) We then advertised and sold our old vehicle and I sought out bids on the internet, determined to take the best deal to St. Louis Honda to see if they could meet the deal. The first and best offer I received online was from Randy Graves.(I requested the bid late that night and Randy responded at 11:07pm!!!) I responded asking if they had a white CR-V in stock. Randy called back later that afternoon stating that they had one in stock. We drove up the next morning. Dan Larson met with us and walked us through the purchase. He was extremely helpful and explained every facet of the vehicle and the buying process. He took us on a tour of the facility and basically took care of the entire buying process. The financial aspect of the purchase was handled by Ivo Saric and the process was quick and painless!! Mr. Saric was very personable. He did a great job in explaining the process and the options available to us. Although the pricing of the extended warranty option is daunting, he explained it well. The entire buying process was great. I hate the "normal" high pressure, shell game that unfortunately comes with car purchases. STL Honda had none of this! Thank you!! More
