Rick was great about being honest with me by pointing out a possible small flaw (dent) in the used vehicle I purchased before I noticed it. He also was freiendly and responsive to all my questions. When I asked to return it to fix a couple of minor items neither one of us noticed when I bought it, he was helpful and made sure they were fixed to my liking, gave me a loaner car to drive while I was waiting. He aqnd the financial manager were respectful and didn't try toplay the old haggling, pretending that some unknown person couldn't accept my offer and adding hidden fees at the end of the deal; and other tiring games that many dealerships became famous for over the years. He was up front and did as much as he could. After the serviced my car they filled it with gas and washed it and even replaced a battery in a keyless entry from another car that wasn't working, that I didn't even buy from them. He went above and beyond the call of duty and I would recommend him and this dealsership to anyone. More
My husband I were in the market for a great used CRV and found the perfect car for us at St. Louis Honda. We asked to take the CRV for a test drive and he quickly made the arrangements to do so. Our experience of driving the car was great and we decided to purchase the car upon return to the dealership. We had a reasonable price in mind and Mr. Watson worked with us. We purchased the CRV and drove it home! Our experience from beginning to end was great! I told Mr. Watson that I would be in touch for a slightly used Honda Accord in the future! More
I came to look for a car. It was my first visit and I've assumed that it will take at least 2-3 visits before I could decide. I guess thanks to Paul I left with the car. We recently purchased a new 2010 Honda Fit Sport from St. Louis Honda. Using the Edmonds.com dealer locater feature to receive quotes from all nearby Honda dealers, I received five offers. Danial Larson, from the Internet Sales Department, responded with a great price and a clear description of what all was included by purchasing at St. Louis Honda. Specifically, I was pleased to see in bold that there were no additional hidden fees. Not wanting to haggle any further at the dealer, this was nice to see stated up front. A few days later I contacted Dan by phone to see if he had the color we wanted. Dan found one in the inventory, but insisted he go out to their additional lot down the street to physically locate the car, and then call me back. This impressed me, since we only wanted a particular color and knew we wouldn't be wasting our time by going down there and then finding out it wasn't actually in stock. Dan phoned back in about twenty minutes and let me know they did have the car in stock, and that he would have it waiting for us when we showed up that afternoon. When we showed up at the dealer, Dan and Randy Graves (the other Internet salesperson) both greeted us and immediately showed us the vehicle and provided a test drive. We confirmed the car was what we wanted and headed in to write up the sale. Thanks to the no-haggle price we had already received, there wasn't anything more to do on the cost of the car. Dan offered us accessories for the car, but there was no pressure when we chose to skip the offers. He then reminded us of all the extras the dealership offered and then took my wife and I on a tour of the dealership so we would know how to bring the car in for service, where to get the free carwashes, etc. The only wait we had was waiting for the financing department. During our wait, we were made comfortable and offered free water, popcorn, etc. The rest of the dealership also seemed very friendly as we watched them interact with other customers. Eventually we met with John (I think) in the finance department. Except for some minor sales pressure on the extended service plan (laying on thick the benefits), we eventually chose to go with one we had predetermined to be our limit, with no further pressure. While we were completing the financing, Dan had the car prepped and washed. As soon as we walked out, Dan led us to the car, handed us the keys and then went over a few options on the car so we knew how to set up a radio station and use the magic seat. The entire process took three hours and we could easily recommend St. Louis Honda. Even more, we would recommend contacting the Dan and/or Randy in the Internet Sales because we really felt they offered the best price. We would also like to note that we did receive a lower quote from another local dealer, but it was within a few dollars of invoice and the wording of the quote made it sound like it wasn't the true price.
