This is the second vehicle I have bought from Mungenast Honda. Mike Hillis took care of me on both occasions, making purchasing a car a very pleasurable experience for me, unlike past purchases at Suntrup Honda. Mike called and let me know whenever there were any recalls for minor service on my first Honda Accord, (Squeaky brakes). The dealership corrected this problem in 45 minutes, at no cost to me. Mike also sold a Honda CR-V to my wife about two years ago. She loves the car, and had a very enjoyable experience dealing with Mike. I have rated my experience with Honda, and especially my deaalings with Mike Hillis because I have never had any occasion to complain about anyhting associated with this Dealership. They take professionalism to a whole new level from the moment you step inside the door to when you step into your new Honda! Mike met me on both occasions, and having known what I was looking for, had me set up with a new car within ten to fifteen minutes of arriving there. He definitely knows what he is doing! Mike provided a comfortable place to sit while the paperwork was being taken care of. He and other employees provided refreshments and answers to any questions we may have had during our time at the dealership. Mike Hillis interacts well with customers by not being condescending, and not trying to push his product too hard. I can attest that the cars do that well enough themselves! Mike is personable without being pushy, and he has always made me feel welcome at St. Louis Honda, even when I just stop by for an oil change. Honda is definitely not the cheapest car on the market today, but with a product as sturdy and stylish as they have, and with quality employees like Mike Hillis providing top notch service to their customers, I will always be coming back to them for my new car needs. I began my internet car search on Halloween, which was a Sunday. Much to my surprise, Randy immediately responded to my initial email from his iPhone. He quickly provided all of the information that I requested. When I met with him at St. Louis Honda, he made me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted. We had straightforward communication during the price negotiation process. It is important to point out that I am a female and conducted this financial transaction on my own. Randy was respectful and treated me as an equal. He was very attentive and communicated with me many times when he was not at work. Randy also displayed patience with my numerous inquiries. His communication/customer service skills are exceptional and hard to find in today's world. In the end, I believe I got a great price on my new Honda, and Randy made the process easy. I would highly recommend Randy Graves to anyone interested in purchasing a new Honda. With respect to the St. Louis Honda dealership, this was a satisfying experience as well. The dealership offered me 0% financing on my new Honda, along with seven $40 coupons to be applied toward any future service. I was very happy to discover that St. Louis Honda provided complimentary pin stripes and mud flaps on each new vehicle. Also, the unlimited free car washes are greatly appreciated. In summary, I was very pleased with the excellent customer service I received by all staff at the dealership. More

The price of the particular car purchased was great and they were straight to the point without lots of back and forth haggling. I received an email from Rick Murphy at St. Louis Honda stating that my 2008 Pilot was holding great value! I had earlier talked to Rick during a routine service visit about the possibility of getting out stating that my 2008 Pilot was holding great value! I had earlier talked to Rick during a routine service visit about the possibility of getting out of my current lease (due to expire in April 2011) and into a new lease because I would be over on allotted miles if I kept the car thru the end of the lease. His response: "No problem - we'll make it work for you." I made an appointment to meet with Rick following his email and he got right to work having their crew examine my car and get the payoff value from American Honda. While that was going on, he found a 2011 Pilot in the configuration and color I wanted on their lot and we took it for a test spin. The car drives phenomenally and is much quieter than the 2008 version. Lots of new bells and whistles, too! When we returned to the dealership, Rick met quickly with their finance manager and came back to me with a great offer -- get out of my current lease immediately, forgive the last 5 payments and any dents/dings on the 2008, start a new lease at the exact same payment (actually $.02 higher/month) and drive a new car off the lot that day...a deal I could not pass up! I filled out the necessary paperwork and waited to meet with the finance manager. The only downside to the entire process was that the dealer only had one finance manager working and two other salesmen were working deals at the exact same time and got their customers' paperwork turned in (literally) one and two minutes ahead of me, so I had to wait until they were finished to sign my paperwork. I only state this in the review because a successful dealership like St. Louis Honda should be able to handle more than one transaction at a time or at least have a back-up person whose primary job might be something else, but who could fill in to avoid having a customer wait 90 minutes to start the process. I live with a lot of patience in my life, so it really wasn't that big of a deal, but since this is a review to help improve their service, I felt it worth noting. Loving my new car and will remain a loyal St. Louis Honda customer for life. This is the 5th Honda I have leased from this dealership since 1995. More
