I recently purchased a used CRV Honda from Dave Mungenast Honda. This was my first purchase from them... I only wish I had worked with them before. Having totaled by previous Honda- I was pretty nervous about even driving another vehichle, let alone having shop for one. My sales person- Candace Chelist made it easy. I had noticed my soon-to-be Honda when my other -half drove me around various lots on a weekend. Not ready for sales talk and nervous about driving an unfamiliar car ... I simply went home. The following Monday morning, I called to inquire about the vehicle...Candace anwered all my many questions and encouraged me to come out that very day and try the vehicle that I liked, as well as others. There was no stress or pressure- she was awesome and I must say very brave to ride with someone who still had car accident jitters. Long story short...I fell in love with my new-to- me Honda. Dave Mungenast's staff all made it so easy ...it was like one stop shopping- and they did all the work of making it happen. I will continue to do business with this dealership. My last two prior vehicles were new; and, I still did not get all the follow up calls and letter thanking me for my business like I have with Dave Mungenast Honda. This dealership made me feel like they sincerly cared and valued my patronage...I was not just a number. Thank you Candace and congrats all at Dave Mungenast Honda for doing such outstanding job in service and product. More

The car buying experience has greatly improved over the years. Mike Hillis was our salesman and was great to work with. The dealership is clean, easy to access and an up to date modern facility. The entire staff was friendly and offered assistance. I feel Honda's basically sell themselves, due to their reliability and safety ratings. I neglected to buy the extended warranty, I understand repair bills may exceed $2,000 dollars, but I felt that was a little steep. Especially since I was already paying a premium price for a new vehicle. We bought a Honda Odyssey Touring minivan and so far are very pleased with it. Like many growing families, we needed more space; a Honda vehicle is an excellent way to protect your family while on the road. Hopefully, I don't have to buy a new car for several years, but if so, I'll be returning to Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda and looking for Mike Hillis. More
I gave ratings of "5", except for "overall experience", which I gave a "4", and "price", which I gave a "3". I would give the price for the CR-V a "5"; however, I thought the price for the op experience", which I gave a "4", and "price", which I gave a "3". I would give the price for the CR-V a "5"; however, I thought the price for the optional additional package that we agreed to (exterior and interior treatment) was high, and I have no way of knowing if that treatment was actually applied. I feel like the optional additional packages are a high pressure sales attempt to raise the overall price and resulting profit to the dealership. More

HE WAS THOUGHTFUL, CALM, PATIENT, NOT OVERPOWERING IN ANY WAY, AND MORE CONCERNED ABOUT MEETING MY FAMLIES NEEDS THAN LONG TO BUY A FAMILY VEHICLE. HE WAS THOUGHTFUL, CALM, PATIENT, NOT OVERPOWERING IN ANY WAY, AND MORE CONCERNED ABOUT MEETING MY FAMLIES NEEDS THAN HIS OWN OR THE DEALERSHIP. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH ROBERT. I WILL SAY THAT I DID VISIT THIS SAME DEALERSHIP A YEAR AGO AND THE SALESMAN I SPOKE TO THEN WAS CONDICENDING AND RUDE. WHEN I LEFT ON THAT DAY I SWORE TO NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN. ON A WHIM I CALLED AGAIN THIS YEAR AND ROBERT ANSWERED THE PHONE, I AM CERTIAN THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT A VEHICLE THIS TIME FROM THIS DEALERSHIP WAS BECAUSE OF ROBERT AND HIS CUSTORMER SERVICE. More
Mike was courteous, professional and knowledgeable about the Honda lineup in general and the CRV we purchased in particular. Everyone was extremely friendly and did whatever they could to make us happy BUT everything took way too long and that is not OK when you have three little kids with you. I recently went into Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda to shop for a new mid-sized sedan to lease. I met with Josh Ulrich, who showed me the 2011 Honda Accord. We drove a couple different models, as I was interested in both the EX-L and the SE. After comparing the two models, I decided the EX-L was the best fit for me. After some negotiations, Josh provided me with a very fair monthly lease rate, and we closed the deal. Ivo Saric, one of the business managers at St. Louis Honda, showed me the platinum protection package, which I had them include in my lease. Ivo walked me through the process and I drove away in my new Honda Accord. My overall experience was very pleasant. Josh and Ivo were both very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend this dealer to my friends. More
In my particular case I was involved with candace chelist. Very friendly salesperson, made you feel good and seem to be truly honest, which I believe is very important in the auto sales industry. There was no hagggling back and forth on price, I knew my price range and I believed they (sales manager and candace) knew what they wanted for the vehicle, Sorry, I don't recall sales managers name. Finance manager Peter Sargent, also made things so quick, easy and very explanative about the financing. All in all very pleasant experience, would definitely reccommend dealership to others.
