I was shopping aroung for a used Honda Pilot and looked at all of the dealers. I stopped into Mungenast Honda and they had a few that I was interested in. Overall the experience was very smooth and hassle-free. I brought in my wife to look at the Pilot and to also test drive it. She loved it. She was very pleased with the way the paperwork and price worked out. That is the worst part of buying a car and this time went very smooth. It was a very effcient process and I never felt pressured in anyway to purchase a vehicle. I have been looking for a good used car for quite some time. I know Shan Herwig personally so I gave her information on what I was looking for and the price range I had to work with. I came very close to buying a used 2008 Dealer Certified Honda Civic which I was allowed to take home for a weekend to be sure I liked it. This began a trust relationship between me and St. Louis Honda. While talking with Shan in the show room a brand new 2010 Honda Fit caught my attention. It was a little more than I had hoped to spend but Shan and the dealer worked with me to get the price down. So here I am the owner of the first new car I have ever purchased in my life (I am 71 years old). I felt no pressure to upgrade from my orginal decision. Shan simple presented facts about bying used verses new and the information given helped me to make what I believe was a good decision. I am on a fixed income and bought the Honda Fit because it will give me good gas mileage cnd I hope many years of good transportation without costly upkeep. It is also easy for my wife and I to get in and out of. Some of my adult children have Honda's and they swear by them. I am hoping I can look back many years from now and tell others that you can't go wrong if you buy a Honda. This is the second Honda that we have purchased through St. Louis Honda using Rick Brennan during the past couple of years. In additional to the two new car purchases, I also worked a great deal with Rick St. Louis Honda using Rick Brennan during the past couple of years. In fact, there were times when I would send an email late at night while catching up on email and Rick would email me back immediately! Rick is very quick to help via the Internet forum and although he is assigned to Used/Internet Sales, is also always willing to work with us on new car purchases. Actually being able to do some of the haggling on-line saved us a lot of time in this particular purchase. Before buying our first Honda, Rick came recommended through two friends and after having purchased the first Honda, we actually learned that another friend of our had used him as well.
