I did not expect this after searching for a car and getting very discouraged along the way in a large part because of the way I was treated (not to mention some of the prices)! Every question I asked was answered and I was not made to feel rushed or pushed in any way. I was also given a great price on the car which made the whole experience even better. This is my 4th vehicle purchased from Rick Murphy. All of my experiences have been good, which is why I keep going back, and also refer friends there. The most recent experience was great as well. Not wanting to pay more than a fair price, I did some research, and also went to three total dealerships, and explained to each one that I wanted their best price upfront on a 2011 Honda Odyssey, and that I was going to make a decision within 3days. In my mind, all things generally equal, I would still pay a little more to stay with Rick and St. Louis Honda, even though I don't live close to them, as their service is great as well (and I live one mile from a competing dealership) Rick listened to this, and provided a quote within 20 minutes. No nonsense, straight shooter, and provided a documented contract to review. The other dealers did normal cheezy sales tactics. The second dealer finally gave me a quote, but would not let me take it to review the proposed contract to review. The excuse was lame and not factual. They also said it was their best price. The 3rd dealer could not even produce a proposal after 45 minutes of sales tactics. They were completely disorganized, it was a joke. The best thing is that Rick's price was truly best upfront. It was $1,500 below the competing bid. I am sure I could have gone back and forth with other dealers, including Saint Louis Honda and tried to save a few bucks, but I don't have time for that, and I respect companies who listen to their customers. Rick did that, which probably has a lot to do with why I keep going back. In addtion, the Mungenast Dealer Network service is stellar. Always a great experience. More
