Our recent experience in dealing with St. Louis Honda and Rick Brennan was once again a good one. If nothing he has nothing that meets our needs, Rick continues to search and give us a call when he finds a vehicle we may like. He knows us and what we want and works hard to find what we needs at a reasonable cost. The review indicates our satisfaction of Rick knowing us and our needs. This is our 3rd vehicle purchased from Rick. There were a few minor details(no floor mats installed and 2nd key not programmed) that were not taken care of when we picked up the car. We texted Rick the night of pick-up and he took care of them the next day. As far as price, I never am fully happy with the price I pay for a car, but satisfied when dealing with Rick and STL Honda that I have received a competitive price. More
Our daughter & son-in-law bought a used Pilot from Rick 2-3 yrs ago & fairly soon afterwards it needed a new compressor. They were not able to absorb that kind of expense at that particular time & both Rick & StL Honda literally "met them half-way" on the cost of repair(s) which allowed them to have their Pilot fixed. They were very appreciative of his understanding; kindness & the dealership "standing behind his product." When I advised I was looking to replace one of my cars at work my daughter & son-in-law highly recommended Rick. I sought Rick out via email & found him to be very prompt in answering any Q's I might have had via return email & sometimes phone calls to make sure I got the info I'd requested. I appreciate that kind of follow-up ! All my dealings were with Rick & he was at all times very courteous and at no time was any pressure evident. Had there been - we would have simply walked. Previous experiences of mine w/StL car dealers had been "less than enjoyable" to put it mildly. I have only 100 miles on the new Odyssey and have enjoyed it very much so far. More
BEWARE - Joe Basler told us that Mungenast St. Louis Honda does not use Kelley Blue Book values because they are "bad". Instead, they use another website which is "good". Good? The website Mungenast uses produces lower numbers than Kelley Blue Book. So, by walking through the doors of this dealership, you automatically lose $1000. More
I'm the type of person who ensures that I will obtain the most value of what I buy. My last vehicle was 11 years old. I knew which car I wanted and also knew which car would fit best in my budget, which weren't the same. I had everything planned out on how and when I was going to accomplish my new car purchase, however my old car did not cooperate. I was needing a new car NOW and I just moved to my new place the week before. I was not ready to buy a new car, yet. I came into the Honda Dealer with no leverage for neogoitation and ready to impulsively resolve my need for a car now. Gina could have sold me what I told her I could afford and spent no additional time with me. Instead she took the time to figure out what I really wanted and found a way to make it fit my budget. At the time, it felt like she was teasing me showing me the Accord when I knew I could only afford the Civic. She introduced the leasing option, which I was very skeptical about too. She took the time to educate me on it. Despite my reluctance she showed me through the leasing option what value it had and I was able to afford the car I really wanted, the Accord. I walked out of the dealership with my new Accord and greatly pleased with the future value I will receive out of it. You have heard of commercials telling you this dealer treated me like family. I'm not the type to go around hugging people, but felt compled to and give Gina a hug after what she did for me. Maybe that is how car dealers are working these days, but I asked her for business card to refer my friends and family. I will be back to Mungenast. More

My wife and I worked with Rick Brennan for our purchase of a new CR-V last week (2/1012). Rick was wonderful to work with. He listened carefully to our questions, assessed our needs and budget, offered of a new CR-V last week (2/1012). Rick was wonderful to work with. He listened carefully to our questions, assessed our needs and budget, offered suggestions and options for our purchase and made our buying experience 'The Best.' This was our third purchase from St Louis Honda and we have had great service from all the vehicles bought there. However, when we bought both a Civic and now the CR-V from Rick, we have honestly had FUN buying the cars. Rick has an engaging personality, is very bright, really knows the product line, communicates well and is willing to go to great lengths to help customers. He gets 5 stars in my opinion. We will do business with Rick and St Louis Honda again! More
