It was a very effcient process and I never felt pressured in anyway to purchase a vehicle. I have been looking for a good used car for quite some time. I know Shan Herwig personally so I gave her information on what I was looking for and the price range I had to work with. I came very close to buying a used 2008 Dealer Certified Honda Civic which I was allowed to take home for a weekend to be sure I liked it. This began a trust relationship between me and St. Louis Honda. While talking with Shan in the show room a brand new 2010 Honda Fit caught my attention. It was a little more than I had hoped to spend but Shan and the dealer worked with me to get the price down. So here I am the owner of the first new car I have ever purchased in my life (I am 71 years old). I felt no pressure to upgrade from my orginal decision. Shan simple presented facts about bying used verses new and the information given helped me to make what I believe was a good decision. I am on a fixed income and bought the Honda Fit because it will give me good gas mileage cnd I hope many years of good transportation without costly upkeep. It is also easy for my wife and I to get in and out of. Some of my adult children have Honda's and they swear by them. I am hoping I can look back many years from now and tell others that you can't go wrong if you buy a Honda. This is the second Honda that we have purchased through St. Louis Honda using Rick Brennan during the past couple of years. In additional to the two new car purchases, I also worked a great deal with Rick St. Louis Honda using Rick Brennan during the past couple of years. In additional to the two new car purchases, I also worked a great deal with Rick by Internet/Email looking for a used car as well. In fact, there were times when I would send an email late at night while catching up on email and Rick would email me back immediately! Rick is very quick to help via the Internet forum and although he is assigned to Used/Internet Sales, is also always willing to work with us on new car purchases. Actually being able to do some of the haggling on-line saved us a lot of time in this particular purchase. Before buying our first Honda, Rick came recommended through two friends and after having purchased the first Honda, we actually learned that another friend of our had used him as well. I would recommend St. Louis Honda to anyone and encourage them to see Rick for their new and used purchase needs. More
This was our second purchase at this dealership in the past six months and each purchase has been extremely easy. Working up the paperwork for the sale went quickly and the car was ready when we completed that task. Mike Hillis helped me when I was waiting for service on my '08 Accord, which resulted in my trading up to the '11 with a great deal. The finance manager is friendly and knowledgeable. After the sale, you can always expect great things from the service side. More
I was researching new cars online, and have always liked the Honda CR-V, and came to the St. Louis Honda site. I took advantage of the Quick Quote option on the website, and was contacted by Randy Graves (I the Honda CR-V, and came to the St. Louis Honda site. Last Saturday I went to the dealership to look at the CR-V's, test drive and talk to Randy about pricing/financing. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and Randy answered all of my questions and provided me with all of the information about the car. My trade was evaluated, and I was offered what I felt would be a fair value for it. I left agreeing to come back on Monday with my husband to take a look and potentially close the deal. Last Monday we returned and were referred to Rob Carroll. Rob worked with us to upgrade from the original LX model we had been looking at, to an SE model. I qualified for the special financing Honda is currently offering....and by the end of the evening, I headed home in my first brand new car! The overall experience was very positive, and I would work with St. Louis Honda once again! More
Even though we were purcahsing a used car, Rick Brennan treated us like we were purchasing a luxury car. He was friendly, knowlegible and prompt to return phone calls and emails. While completing the financing on my new Honda Accord I mentioned to Dave Gierse the Business Manager that I was selling my 2004 Honda to my daughter and would like to get it cleaned up (remove scratches a mentioned to Dave Gierse the Business Manager that I was selling my 2004 Honda to my daughter and would like to get it cleaned up (remove scratches and fix a gouge in the dash board). Dave arranged for me to meet their interior & exterior service contractors through Dave Hesse in their Pre-Owned department. Dave set me up with Ed Rosenkoetter (Automotive Reconditioning Company) and Dennis Barnes (Paint Tech). I couldn't be more pleased with their work. They both performed miracles and when done the car looked brand new. Ed fixed the dash board for free and Dennis gave me an extremely reasonable rate on his work. I am blown away by the extra mile that Dave Gierse went to after I had already completed my purchase. You can't go wrong with St. Louis Honda and their outstanding staff ...
