When completing the title paperwork you should ask the customer if they wish to designate a TOD election. The Department Of Revenue person pointed out to me that it was left blank. I had no idea about this until it was pointed out to me. Now I have to send a special request to AHFC to amend the paperwork to add my son as TOD to keep this vehicle out of Probate should anything happen to both my wife and me at the same time. once I receive a response from AHFC, I have to go back to the Department Of Revenue to have the Title amended. Perhaps the Finance person can remember to ask the customer if they wish to designate a person. This should be done on all future car sales by St. Louis Honda to other customers to save them from this paperwork hassle. More
