This was, by far, the best buying (leasing) experience I have had with a car dealership. Gina Bommarito was friendly, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful. But clearly, she is a well-trained saleswoman who knows the business. I was also impressed by the Mungenast team atmosphere in getting me in a car that night. They gave me a good deal on a Honda Civic. This is a great dealership and an awesome staff who all seem to really enjoy their jobs. I highly recommend Gina and the whole Mungenast team! More

This was my first new vehicle purchase since 2001 and not once did I feel pressured to "buy now" which was appreciated. If we had decided to wait longer to purchase from this dealership, I would have requested Gina for my salesperson. I must also mention Jason Boehme, finance specialist, for his professional and friendly manner during this phase of the process. Both Gina and Jason made the total car buying experience go smoothly and I got wanted and more than expected in my new 2014 LX CR-V! I chose Honda for vehicle reliability hoping this proves out to be true over the time I have the vehicle. This will is the third car I have purchased from this dealership. Their customer service is second to none, not just during the sales process, but also after the sale, and even well after the sale. Along with the sales them, the maintaintance teams and even the receptionists provide terrific customer service. I was very pleased with the price I recieved, especially compareced to other Honda dealerships, but also againt other dealeerships for other car manufactures. The 2 previous car I had purchased have all been servied at this facilty, and while the service prices aren't the cheapest (no dealership is), The are in line with other dealerships, and the quality of the work is second to none! The sales experience was exceptional. There were no high pressure tactics, no attempts at cooersing me to look at and/or purchase a higher end vehicle than what I came there for. Most importantly, they understood and respected my schedule and timeline. I began my search and my first visit to them in September, and did not make a purchase until December. During that stretch I was not hounded by them in any way, I received one follow up about a month after my first visit, and that was it. PERFECT! I couldn't have been happier! I will return to Mungenast St. Louis Honda to give them a shot at my next car purchase as well, in about 6-7 years. :) More

My wife and I felt so comfortable after the first visit that we had trouble not turning around and buying the car that day. After doing our homework and looking around we found that Joe had offered us the best package just like he promised. We felt comfortable that we would be taken care of after the sale as well if anything were to come up. I look forward to bringing my Honda back and purchasing more vehicles from Joe and the team there in the future. I would absolutely recommend going here to any of my friends or family. More
Mungenast provided clear information from the beginning regarding the vehicle types and stock. Joe was willing to negotiate with fair prices compared to salespersons from other dealers and had great turn a regarding the vehicle types and stock. We ended up upgrading to a higher model because the prices negotiated were reasonable, especially when adding a second buyer to the deal. When visiting the dealership, I was immediately greeted by friendly, courteous staff. At closing we ran into some issues: Joe and his manager Jim required deposits on each vehicle; having come from Toyota as loyal customers for 20 years and never having to put down deposits, we did not feel entirely comfortable with the idea and expressed this to Mungenast. After many days of emails, eventually this condition was dropped by Mungenast. Furthermore, we asked Mungenast to provide in writing the details of our deal to ensure all parties were clear before moving forward. Mungenast did so but did not include a minor detail. At close, Mungenast stated that they had assumed this had been part of the deal but looking through previous emails together it was clear this had never been confirmed by Mungenast. Joe took responsibility which I greatly respect. Joe also respected the pricing negotiated for our family when it appeared that the second deal would not come through. The second deal did finally come through a week later. Again, I want to capitalize on the fact that Joe was patient and honored the time and efforts my family had spent working with him BEFORE being sure that the other buyer would come through. This has been our first experience buying from Honda. Though the process was complicated and we ran into some issues, Mungenast took time to address the issues DURING negotiations rather than improving AFTER closing. Joe has helped Mungenast set the bar high for what to expect in patience, follow up, and pricing. More

I walked away with a 2007 Certified Pre-Owned Honda Accord. The experience I had with Craig Newport was amazing. He understood every aspect of my family and worked hard to make everyone comfortable in the decision. Once I turned 20, I had put many miles on my car from traveling to school every day, and I decided to trade in my car and purchase a new car with better gas mileage and less miles. Without a doubt, my family returned to Craig Newport at Mungenast St. Louis Honda. Craig was busy for the day, so he had Shan Herwig help us with our decisions. Needless to say, we were not the easiest of customers because although it was my car, the family needed to be involved with their many different opinions. With every change of ideas, Shan was right behind us. She understood every point my family brought up, and she worked hard to find ways to help solve problems and keep us informed on what we were purchasing. At the end of the day, we were completely happy with our purchase of a 2013 Honda Civic LX. Craig helped us in the end, and he stayed late at the dealership to make sure I learned everything about my new car. They gave me a GREAT price on my trade in as well to put towards my new car. This dealership is perfect because of they are very knowledgable on their cars and never push their sales. There was a point in the day where we were probably not even going to purchase the car because of decisions, and Shan was completely fine with that. It is always all about the customer at Mungenast.
