Marty was flexible in scheduling a time for us to meet. I especially appreciated the fact that the dealership was opened later than most dealerships since I work late. The car was in as great condition in person as it was in the pictures online, and listed for a reasonable price that complied with the price Kelly Blue Book quoted the car at. Kurt and the Finance Manager, Brandon, were beyond helpful. They operated quickly and found a lower interest rate than my credit union was offering me on my auto loan. I was in and out of the dealership in under 2 hours with my dream car (NO exaggeration). I wish all car buying experiences were this easy. I guess you need a bad one to see what a good one is like. Service Department Been a customer for some time. Bought two new cars and have two cars serviced at Mungenast. However, as it is impossible to have simple routine mainte Been a customer for some time. Bought two new cars and have two cars serviced at Mungenast. However, as it is impossible to have simple routine maintenance done on a timely basis. Called for basic oil change & tire rotation, and first available appointment was in 10 days. Although the dealership has "Express Service" lanes, it is not available at Mungenast. Dealership was under construction for an overdue remodel for more than a year. That was the reason given during that time for untimely service. Now it is the airbag recall. Frankly, a dealer that allows its customer service to deteriorate because of an issue like this means that the customer is NOT #1. I am currently sitting in the waiting room of another Honda dealer while having my oil change and tire rotation done via their Express Service. Mungenast has lost me as a customer. In addition to a vehicle purchase last December, I have spent in excess of $4,000 in service and parts. Somehow, I think that, if Dave were still alive, he would be concerned about customer retention, as St Louis Honda became the region's biggest dealer while he was at the helm. More
