Dave Gill Chevrolet, located in Whitehall near Port Columbus Airport, has been proudly serving Central Ohio as a family-owned dealership since 1982. When Dave and Nancy Gill purchased Avery Pontiac that year, the dealership was among the oldest automotive dealerships in the country. Later, Dave Gill Pontiac added a GMC franchise and began selling new trucks. But the biggest change for the dealership came in March 2009, when Dave Gill purchased a Chevrolet franchise. Dave Gill Chevrolet was born. In June 2011, Dave Gill became the first dealership in Central Ohio to adopt Chevrolet's new image for its retail stores. The showroom, customer lounge area, restrooms, and service drive have been completely renovated, making Dave Gill the most modern and exciting retail space for Chevrolet customers in the region.

The staff at Dave Gill is knowledgeable, friendly, fair and continually go above and beyond the call to make our experiences in purchasing and repairing our vehicles very easy. We have purchased two cars at Gill, and have absolutely no complaints. Salesman Mike Curtin worked very hard to show us all of our options in the vehicles that we wanted, and quickly got us through the mounds of paperwork. Finance manager Don worked extensively to find us the right financing. Operations director Dan Porter checked on us several times, making sure that everything was going smoothly. This is the best dealership I have ever worked with! We will be back! More

Hands down this was my best car buying experience ever (new or used). I would highly recommend this dealership to any friend or family member that was looking for new car. My positive experience started (new or used). I would highly recommend this dealership to any friend or family member that was looking for new car. My positive experience started with an online inquiry about a new Chevy Traverse which was followed with a quick response and phone conversation with Joe Plantz (Internet sales). I soon after scheduled a time to stop by the dealership, meet with Joe and see what they had in their inventory. Joe was extremely knowledgeable but most important he listened as I explained what I was looking for and at no time did he try and steer me away from or more than what I was looking for. In fact, Joe explained that for what I wanted, I likely didn’t need the trim package I had originally thought I wanted (LTZ) and explained I could get the car I wanted with the accessories I needed in a trim package below what I was looking for and in-turn saved me a considerable amount of money. I was extremely impressed with his desire to put me in the vehicle that I wanted and not one that would make him and/or the dealership the most money. In fact, the dealership didn’t have the vehicle with the accessories I wanted in stock so he set out to find what I wanted by searching dealerships in the area and state … which he did. My only slight hiccup with the entire car buying experience at Dave Gill came when we got to financing. Without going into detail I will just say that the dealership went out of its way to make it right for me even though it likely cost them money to do so. The way the dealership handled this issue just reaffirmed what I had discovered as I moved through the car buying process. This is a dealership that sets itself apart from many others because its integrity. They act according to the values, beliefs and principles they claim to hold and they will go the extra mile to prove that integrity means something to them. From Joe (sales) to Don (financing) and everyone in between … They all made my car buying experience the best ever and far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Dave Gill Chevrolet as the place to start next time you’re in the market for a new car, you won’t be disappointed. More

Scott is a great asset to the dealership. Very friendly and can tell he is a natural at this. It was not fake. If it was he should be in hollywood. LOL!! But he made the experience painless. We won a brand new Chevy Cruze and chose to pick it up at Dave Gill Chevrolet. We frequently drive by there and were excited to see the newly re-modeled dealership. Inside it was so neat and clean and everyone was so professional. The customer service was amazing to say the least. Randy took the time to show us all of the features of the car and how to work the navigation and Bluetooth. The kids were even given a tour of the shop and besides riding home a new car it was the highlight of the day for them. This experience has sealed the deal, we will be going back to Dave Gill for our next car. They are the perfect example of what customer service and care should be. The support they offer to Military men and women is incredible. It is always nice to see our soldiers appreciated for their selfless service to our country. I highly recommend everyone go there and ask for Randy. More

Joe Plantz was very prompt in responding to my initial inquiry as well as all of my other questions. He was sensitive to my parents' situation (I was helping my elderly parents lease a new car) and in he inquiry as well as all of my other questions. Overall the best experience I have had buying a new car. I was greeted by Tracey as soon as I walked in the door. She showed me every car I was interested in and answered every question I had. She made me feel at ease and didn't pressure me at all...hard to find these days. I was offered test drives of each vehicle and was explained everything about each vehicle. I didn't feel as though I was "just another customer or sale." Tracey followed up with me and was available to speak to me at my convenience. Even after purchasing my vehicle, she has still remained in contact with me to ensure I was/am completely satisfied with the vehicle. Don Rioux in the Finance Department was fantastic as well. I had a lot of questions and he explained everything line by line and made sure he answered all my questions and that I fully understood everything. Both Tracey and Don are great assets to Dave Gill....I can't imagine having a better experience buying a new car. More

I took my car in for service and went to visit Tracey. She started talking to me about the new Chevy Cruze but after going to the lot and looking at them I decided I liked the Malibu much better.
