A+++ Staff At Dave Gill Chevrolet Today (Saturday) I went into the dealership with the hopes of finding a vehicle within my price range and that was appealing to me. I found a vehicle that met both of these qualifications and MUCH... MUCH more. The staff at Dave Gill Chevrolet are second to NONE. Everyone was very friendly and wiling to cater to my comfort and sense of feeling welcomed. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in the front door. Scott Hall greeted me with a firm hand shake and a smile ear to ear upon entry into the showroom. When the vehicle I purchased came back from the detailer it was 100% spotless. Amazing. Not a spec of dust anywhere. I would recommend Dave Gill Chevrolet to anyone in the Columbus area for any of your new or used car needs. They are top notch and I will definitely be back for the regular maintenance on the vehicle I bought today. Hats off to you Scott Hall and Kevin Hampton (Finance Manager) for getting me into a car I feel i deserve. Great experience! I looked up reviews online of every dealership within the Columbus area and Dave Gill by far had the best reviews that I could find. Everyone was talking about how well they were treated and how great their experience was and now I know why. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the time I stepped foot on the property, the staff was very friendly and not overwhelming in any way. I know most dealerships have the reputation of swarming people right when they pull on the lot but this was not the case at all on my visit. Chris was absolutely wonderful in helping me find the perfect vehicle after I explained my budget and what I was looking for. He showed me around the lot and explained the differences of every car we saw and also helped me understand the financial details before we even sat down at his desk. Other staff that I came in contact with were very polite and after my purchase I felt like every staff member congratulated me on my new car and did everything they could to make me feel welcome. Chris asked us multiple times if we wanted anything to drink and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. He explained all the finances very well and answered all of my questions informatively. I was able to do all of my negotiations via email and received prompt responses. When I arrived at the dealership, my deal was already made. An AMAZING Experience My family has bought over a dozen cars from Dave Gill and it has always been a great experience. All the employee are helpful and courteous. My Dad finally made the decision to let go of $62K and order the car of his dreams, a 2014 Corvette Stingray.After providing for his family for the last 50 years, we all finally convinced him to do this for himself. My Dad met with sales lady Tracey Saura, who he has had nothing but great things to say about. Please understand my Dad does not do well with sales people ever! She was with him through the whole process of ordering the car with exactly what he wanted on it, the pricing as my Dad had it priced to the penny from building it on Chevrolet.com. She ordered all the accessories he wanted. She was in contact to let him know where he was on the list, when it was sent to the factory, when the vin # was assigned to the vehicle, and when it arrived. That is Fantastic service, right? Well it isn't half of how she went above and beyond to make this such a special memorable experience for my family and I. My Dad would call me every time he heard from Tracey. There was a license plate bracket he seen on a corvette that was in service one day and he said Tracey told him she would find out where he could get one just like it. He talked about Tracey like they knew each other for years. I wanted to be there for the reveal of the car to share it with my Dad, but I couldn't so I thought if I can get that license plate bracket and have it put on the car before he picks it up, I will feel a little more involved in"the reveal" I contacted Tracey and explained what I wanted to do and how upset I was I lived so far and how there is no man more deserving of this car than my Dad. He has always given to his family and not to himself. She immediately got me the part # to license plate bracket and the website to order it.I asked her for one last favor that would mean the world to me, which was, would she please take a couple pictures of my Dad seeing the car for the first time. Well, she left the wrapping on the car, and she took a ton of pictures and was texting them to me as it was all taking place, I got pictures of it all from unwrapping,sitting in the car, around the car, you name it, him signing paperwork, and waiting on the delivery and him taking off in it. I felt like I was at Dave Gill in the moment. It was AMAZING! Thanks to Tracey I will be making a special frame for my Dad titled " The Amazing Reveal for an Amazing Dad". Tracey Truly cared about what this meant to me and she was so excited and happy for my Dad. That kind of authenticity can not be duplicated folks.
