You can tell a lot about a company by how they handle things when they go off the rails. After an excellent remote purchase experience, I purchased a CPO car from Dave Cross (I'm over 1,000 miles away). They helped allay my worried and really tried to find options due to some travel restrictions I had due to the COVID pandemic. My salesperson, Justice listened to my needs and was responsive. Charbel, the finance manager was easy to talk to and got me the financing deal I asked for. I had them tint the car as well and they arranged shipping. That's where things went off the rails.... The car was picked up and delivered the very next day (amazingly quick), but the shipping company was confused about payment and just left the car in my driveway with the windows down and the keys on the seat. When I looked over the car the next day I found damage that appeared to be from shipping. I notified my contact at Dave Cross and thus began the bad part of my experience. I was told I needed to get a quote for the repairs, which totaled nearly $1,800. With that information in hand, over the next two months I tried unsuccessfully to get help from both the shipping company and Dave Cross. Both seemed to ignore me. As time went on, my tint started to bubble and peel off, which translated to another $500 to repair. It's safe to assume I was frustrated and wasn't a happy camper. The bright spot in my post delivery debacle was Lauren who worked with me to help get my car registered. She was AMAZING, she was friendly, attentive, and followed through on everything she promised. I was confused at how so many things could be so great about Dave Cross, yet I couldn't get help with my issue. That's where our story takes another turn. Sure it took a while, but I spoke with Chad Cross who apologized about the situation and how it had fallen through the cracks. He took ownership of working towards a resolution and I really felt as though he had my back. Although the shipping company was just as unreasonable and unresponsive to him as they were to me, I saw the effort he put in to try and get a resolution. And when the discussions with the shipping company failed, he took responsibility and resolved the issue. That's the type of company you want to deal with, a company who does what is right even when it may not be the easy thing to do. Sure it wasn't a direct path to 5 stars on my review and it certainly could have been easier, but it could have gone much worse. When you buy a car, you want it to be from someone who you can trust, who has your back, and who will do the right thing. That's why you should buy your next car at Dave Cross. More
The Car Dealership experience you remember from 30 years ago This place seems to be just like every other car dealership. They get you to buy the car and then basically lock the door after you drive off the lot. This place seems to be just like every other car dealership. When buying my truck from them, I worked in the deal having my car washed for free for life just like the truck as the deal was really a little above what I wanted to pay but this and a few other things really sold the truck to me. Welp, I went to get my car washed for free and the Manager basically said the salesman can wash the car if he wants but he will not be washing the car. On top of that, which is about as shady as they come, they never fixed the running boards or the rear panel that was coming off that they promised as well. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING FOR SERVICE OR TO BUY A CAR HERE. I cannot stand this type of Car dealership and they seem to be very common still in today's age. More

No loaner offered. We were told "if we take down negative review they could get me a loaner" then service manager Chris becAme very confrontational. Refusing to service vehicle and threatening $30 per day storage if I don't immediately come pick up my car. Very argumentative, and tryin to bully me! in years past, this WAS one of the best places in town.. sad to see bad employee s can ruin a reputation.. Dave Cross shame on you for employing this type of person. More

Interest on my used vehicle (worth 13k a year later and I paid 19k for it at time of purchase) is ONLY 11thousand dollars financed!! Glad I went through Ken who informed me of all my options, and discussed exactly what I should do!! I'm 24 with no male guidance, so Ken Auch---bigggg shout out!! Thank you so much for helping me get into this used car! You rock! I'll definitely be telling my friends about y'all and the great deal I got. Dream car. Only paying $34,000 so just 9more years of payments!!! Then it's paid off! :) More

The Buicks I have had have been some of the best cars I have ever owned. The Cross service has always been the best I could hope for. Prompt and quick on the regular maintenance, accurate diagnostics and records and competent and thorough mechanics / craftsmen for the bigger jobs. I've never had any reservations recommending Cross service. Great guys doing a great job. More
I'M BEING IGNORED. First of all the dealership managers are ignoring me. Won't return my calls or e-mails. I want reimbursed for money I spent repairing my 2015 Dodge Charger because the recon dept. screwed the advertising plate and frame directly to the front bumper, no front license plate holder. After I removed the broken frame and plate there was three ugly holes in the front of the bumper, very ugly on such a cool looking car. Also no second remote keyless entry. Car was sold with only one. And we were told that our salesman would contact the previous owner and try and get it to us. Our salesman stated he's tried and previous owner won't return his call. Can't even get anyone to call us back. Horrible customer service. More

The consistent high quality, accessible, and affordable service offered by Dave Cross and his team has been truly remarkable! That consistent service game me confidence to consider purchasing a vehicle from Dave Cross Motors--I've now done that twice. My most recent experience was a "click and drive" online experience with Dave Cross Motors. Don Paddock, the internet manager took on my case. I found Don to be a truly remarkable sales person. He knew everything about the vehicles I was considering and answered every question I had. Probably most importantly to me was that he actually listened very carefully to me and responded promptly and appropriately to every request. I told him that I took a lot of time to make the purchase decision and that I could be difficult to deal with. Yet, he never pressured me and always responded with excellent information. In the end, he worked a great deal for my trade in and got me the best price possible on my new truck. And, to top it off, unlike other high pressure/high volume dealers in the metro area, he followed up with me and even helped me in getting and using a GM coupon for accessories (and he ordered it for me). He has continued to follow-up appropriately and timely on everything. I highly recommend Dave Cross Motors, Dave Cross for his affordable, accessible, and high quality service, and Don Paddock for new vehicle purchases.
