Have used before with reasonable success. I am NOT the average reviewer. My car is my office and I cover LINY to RI including CT as a sales rep. I live 10 minutes from the dealership. They recently underwent changes to staff in service dept (for what reason I do not know). The bozo I was dealing with said he would get my car in for an oil change. It took so long I dozed off in the waiting room. When I awoke, I went to the service writers desk and said I noticed my car was outside was it all done? To his amazement and mine he explained they forgot about it and never pulled it in. I am so sorry we will do it now etc. etc.. Remember, my car is my office. I asked them to look at my window and advise what I need as pass window was on the blink and would go up and down without stopping when the switch was engaged. Later John said I would need a new window regulator. Fast forward and I called to make another appointment to get my new window regulator for $385.00 installed, a synthetic oil change and my own brake rotors and pads as I explained that I am going through the brakes too often and wanted to try another brand. After waiting for two days for a return call the servicer called me to explain that they would not put my own parts on the car. No problem I said as I knew any dealer would be happy to take my money for such an easy task. I called Newburgh Park Motors in Newburgh NY. They are 35 min away versus 10 but I have had great luck in the past with them. I called Sat morning not expecting to get in. Terrell told me no-problem. Oh, and I didn't need a regulator because unlike the idiots at Danbury who I had just recently done a $1500.00 service with, these guys checked for codes. The tech said all I needed was an update. Thanks! See ya Danbury Jeep and to think that I tried to save the relationship by calling and leaving the service manager a polite VM explaining the situation and didn't even return my VM. If I worked like these clowns I would be fired! Shame shame no credibility and a real embarrassment! More
I purchased my Jeep a year ago from this dealership. Ray was an awesome salesman, the best experience I've had purchasing a vehicle. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Recently I have had some leaks in the soft top of my Jeep. I brought it back to be fixed, a day after I got my Jeep back, it rained and I noticed the same leaks. I brought my Jeep back once again to be fixed and I was given a rental for almost a week until parts came in and it was supposedly fixed again. Days later it rains and once again I have the same leaks. I am not a Danbury resident. I live in Stamford Connecticut, which is about 35 miles away. It takes almost an hour to get to the dealership and another hour to return home. I am missing hours from work, putting mileage on my car and also wasting gas driving back and forth to keep getting serviced for the same problem. There isn't any compensation for any of this and it is very frustrating. My experience with this dealership has been top notch, until dealing with the service department not properly repairing my vehicle. All in all, I love the dealer and would recommend Ray to friends and family to purchase a new vehicle. Just not to get any repairs or service done. More
Stay as far away from Danbury Jeep Chrysler as possible. They are the worst! I have given them 3 chances now and all 3 were horrendous.
