I purchased two Grand Cherokees from this dealership in the past 6 years - both cars had problems with many recalls. The dealership fail to fix many malfunctions on both Grand Cherokees due to their helpl the past 6 years - both cars had problems with many recalls. The dealership fail to fix many malfunctions on both Grand Cherokees due to their helpless diagnostics, however the video-recordings are clearly verifying that the problems are there and real. The dealership did not replace the rear suspension under warranty, however in their document (that I happen to have) shows that they did. They ok to replace it, however they misdeed me by their fake appointments scenario - I had three appointment for a rear suspension replacement recently, and all of them fail: as the 1st excuse was - they didn't have it in stock first according to Serv. Director (why did you make an appointment ?), and then they could not provide clean loner or another excuse was because of Covid19 according to Serv.director, they had a lot of problems to get a loner — all was done on purpose to make me discussed and walk away. Serv. Director asked me to come back when they get the part - he said about a week, … then came - about a month, and then came about a year. I drove three times to the dealership from NY for their scheduled fake appointments and, every times there was a story and new promises, and then I wasn't able to get an appointment with the owner Bill Sabatini to report the actual abuse. According to Clyde, the owner is always in FL, and if he speaks to him four times a year it’s a lot. I ask if I could speak to the owner via Zoom, Skype or WhatsApp - he replied _ I do not think so… I am not sure why. After my advisor Ivonne stop working at the Service Dep., the problems with appointments started instantly. The next adviser - Melissa recorded car-problems for the repairs onrush and at pickup from repair on May 17th - the vibration on steering wheel started less than a mile away from the Service Dep. I called immediately, and Melissa told me to bring my Grand Cherokee back, however, she already gave the loner away, and nightmare started - it was after 5pm EST when she called Enterprise and asked for the loner back and then, she told Sal (another advisor) to drive me to Enterprise to pick up the car, however, here was 12 people with masks with social distancing all-over the Enterprise grounds. I saw my loner given away, and I asked the manager if I could get that car back, and he responded, “you have to wait until I take care of all of these 12 people” and he swung with his hand around and started counting people, “as they are all before you”- he concluded. Jeep advisor Sal was helpless, Melissa was in charge on the phone, she stop on the way home -never left her vehicle- just asked from her open window if they found any car. Sal told her that we have to wait. We were both in a dealership’s car for over hour waiting for the car as I had to drive 43 miles to my home in NY. Meanwhile, Enterprise gave all cars away for the exception of a worn-out, never cleaned, low to the ground-vibrating black Dodge Challenger with indented body in multiple places - just dropped by the customer. I opened the door. and a strong smell of smoke hit my face, I immediately closed the door. I informed the manager about smoke and I showed him my Asthma inhaler. He responded, “ sorry mam, this is the only car we could give to the dealership upon agreement with the dealership, otherwise we do not have any other car until tomorrow, I could spray it inside to help with the smoke smell - people should not smoke - he said”. I told him that I had to drive to NY in the dark in this car that I afraid to drive because of my health issues - danger to Asthma attack, recent total knee replacement, back injury, and scheduled appointment for upcoming shoulder surgery…. and etc., - its awful. I am over 60 years old, left on an empty Enterprise grounds at dusk with smell as ashtray, loudly-vibrating car with stuck driver-seat that I could not move - thinking that this car has to get me home 43 miles away in the dark via I-84 and Taconic State Parkway, hoping without car accident and without Asthma attack, and any other impact on my health - the most important - without asthma attack, without cervical back-injury, or complications with my recent total knee replacement and other health complications after multiple medical procedures I just had, … and from pressure and nerves my nose started to bleed, tears covered my face. This was on May 27, 2020 during Covid-19 extreme outbreak. Today is Aug 17, and I had another fake appointment w/another awful experience w/ Service Dep. and I am just exhausted from driving back and forth to the dealership where I bought my Grand Cherokees for their fake appointments every time driving 86 miles - dozens of times and returning with nothing done. Both cars was more at the dealership for the repairs than with me. I just got back home from another fake appointment - on my not-repaired, vibrating Grand Cherokee - not-repaired banging rear suspension and the same old electrical problems that affecting transmission, and cost many multiple malfunctions like seat-belt malfunction, panoramic sunroof malfunction, tire-pressure sensors malfunctions and more… however, one thing I did right - I made a real life video-recordings multiple times (w/dates recorded) in the past 2 years for the resolution that this dealership has to face. There was a number of other problems with this dealership needs to be addressed, however It will just cover more pages … I hope the owner has access to this review in FL and will find a minute to look into it More

What a difference it makes when you choose the right dealer Danbury exceeded my expectations. Having had an unbelievable and horrific experience at another Chrysler dealer (Modern Dodge/Mazda in Thomaston) I wa Danbury exceeded my expectations. Having had an unbelievable and horrific experience at another Chrysler dealer (Modern Dodge/Mazda in Thomaston) I was very hesitant about going back to any Chrysler dealer for purchase or service. I looked long and hard at many reviews and Danbury seemed to have some really good reviews. Not just stars but I was listening to what was actually being said in the reviews and I decided to try one last time with dealer service. Danbury was more than fair. Melissa was a pleasure to deal with from the first phone call to the completion of all necessary repairs. My Promaster needed some major repairs and they were handled expertly. Not all dealers are set up to handle high top Promaster vans. I noticed when I picked mine up that there were quite a number of them in the shop. So if you're looking for a dealer that knows how to deal with the Promaster give Danbury a shot. I hope you will be as pleased with their service as I am. Thanks again Melissa and all the techs that worked on my van. More
