My husband and I were looking for a used Dodge Durango and were unable to find one with the features and engine we wanted locally. I discovered cars.com and found a Durango that looked to be a good fit at and were unable to find one with the features and engine we wanted locally. I discovered cars.com and found a Durango that looked to be a good fit at Danbury. I e-mailed and asked specifically if the car had a navigation system. I was told, "yes, it does have navigation". Once a price was negotiated we gave a down payment and began the purchase. This car had been listed on the Danbury website - and also on the CARFAX - as having 49,500 miles on it. About 5 days after we began the purchase I looked at the CARFAX again and noticed that the mileage had gone up to over 50,000. We didn't argue about it, but proceeded with the sale. We then hired a car-carrier service to deliver this car to us. When the car arrived, it had over 50,400 miles. (Someone had added 900+ miles since the listing had been posted!) It had also been claimed to have had a 120-point inspection, however upon arrival we noticed a fog light and a signal light not working. (Those must have gone out during the 900 miles driven at the dealership.) The vehicle has, in fact, NO navigation system. I was told by our local Dodge dealer that this is a $2,100 upgrade of the whole radio. The car was also NOT detailed as had been promised by our salesman, who blamed the trucking company for not giving him enough notice (although the car was there for 3 weeks after we began the purchase). Very sadly, Danbury has offered us only $500 to resolve these issues. More

Only thing I am unhappy with was that I requested a fully loaded SRT8 . I should have gotten the window sticker or line sheet to look at because when I received the car , im comparing the options to my 2013 Charger SRT8 and there are variances that I didn't know about. Excellent dealership with very attentive staff. The care was ready when we arrived and it was clean. Alex did an amazing job at orienting us to our new Jeep. He did amazing with my 72 yr old mother (who is hard of hearing!) and for whom we purchased the car. Patience of a saint! Carlos made the paperwork seem like we forgot to do something....it went so smoothly and quickly! He was engaging, easy to deal with and informative. I would highly recommend this dealership for the following reason... 1. People, people, people...they are great, non-pressuring, and easy to work with on a purchase 2. Competitive pricing.....did not make you go through hoops to get a deal....made it easy to purchase from them because the price was right from the start. 3. Helpful and accomodating......wanted us to be happy with our purchase at any means... More

I had an excellent experience buying a 2011 Jeep Patriot. Our salesman, Alex Davydov was very helpful. They had received the car as a tradein on Friday afternoon and Alex got it ready for a test drive Satu Our salesman, Alex Davydov was very helpful. They had received the car as a tradein on Friday afternoon and Alex got it ready for a test drive Saturday morning. Alex was very patient with my teenage daughter who only recently got her license. She had never driven a Jeep before, and Alex explained all the controls. Once we decided to buy the car, Alex pushed service to get everything ready for us quickly. Carlos Costa, the finance manager on our case, also did a great job. I got a very good interest rate at my credit union, but Carlos was able to beat it. He also was very fair on the pricing of a service contract. And he didn't try to slip in a bunch of added fees to grab back the break we got on the financing. All in all very pleasant doing business with them. More
My husband and I were looking to get out of our BMW lease a year early and get into something a lot more practical like a base model 2 door Jeep Wrangler. We didn't think it would really be possible to get a year early and get into something a lot more practical like a base model 2 door Jeep Wrangler. We didn't think it would really be possible to get out of the lease early. We went in thinking we were going to lose our shirts on the early lease termination as the vehicle buy out was much higher than the actual vehicle value. The entire team at Danbury Auto (we worked with Ray Pacheco and James Skarzenski and they worked with their managers) worked their magic utilizing every trick they knew to get us the best loan rate, terms, rebates and trade in vehicle value. They were even able to obtain a better buyout from BMW than our original lease terms had stated which helped to lower our down payment. We found everyone to be incredibly honest and genuine. We even had to come back and redo our finance paperwork because they found a better loan rate from a different lender at the last minute AND found out about additional rebates from the manufacturer that could apply towards our purchase. Not usually what you expect to hear from the dealership you just purchased a car from, "We made a mistake with the paperwork - we found some rebates that apply and were able to find a better APR for you". This was after we had already signed everything, they easily could have left the paperwork as is, but they were truly looking out for us and made the extra effort to help us out which saved us about another $1800. With service like that, you cannot afford to shop for a car anywhere else! More

I had visited Danbury Auto website on the web and found it to be very informative and helpful. I have never visited this dealership, but it appeared they had the inventory I was looking for. When we ente it to be very informative and helpful. I have never visited this dealership, but it appeared they had the inventory I was looking for. When we entered the showroom, Roland came over and asked if we needed any help. When we told him we were interested in purchasing one of the two 2013 Dodge Journey automobiles that were posted on the web, he checked the inventory and informed us that they were sold. Knowing what I was looking for by the information I gave him, Roland said they had one on the lot, but it was a 2014 for almost the same price as the one I was interested in. He retrieved the car from the lot and showed it to us, explaining some of the features. He asked if I wanted to take it for a test drive. I was trading in a 2009 Journey so I was familiar with most of the features. The only thing different about this car from what I was looking for was the color. I appreciated that Roland didn't pressure us to take the car even if it wasn't the color I said I wanted. He asked if I would be interested in Silver. I think he would not have wasted our time trying to persuade us to take it. The entire visit with Roland was a good experience. The car was ready as they promised and they took care of all the insurance and registration papers. I look forward to calling Danbury Dodge my "new" dealership. More
Ok...I live in NYC and I wanted to avoid the Lying, Cheating unfair and uncouth attitudes in the Big City.....unfortunately I did not read your reviews carefully enough. I made an appointment with the Cheating unfair and uncouth attitudes in the Big City.....unfortunately I did not read your reviews carefully enough. I made an appointment with their female receptionist for 7:30 am a week in advance. I slept in the parking lot that night to avoid traffic, and since I was there with a brake problem I didn't want to drive it in rush hour. When I arrived at the door one of the other service people said "Can I help you"? And I said I have an appointment at 7:30am. He said in a snide way " You know the technicians don't get here until 8." I didn't understand why he said that....how about offer me some coffee and turn on the TV in the waiting room instead of treating me like crap out of the box. It was his receptionist who told me to be there at 7:30. Finally at 9am they get to me after they served the other customers who came after me. The Tech came out to my truck....He touched my brake pedal and said "I don't even need to test drive this ....I know it's the Master Cylinder" that took 2 minutes and we where back inside. John Spina was assigned to have me fill out paperwork and be my service rep. He said do you want your Truck back today. I said yes , sure that would be great. That was 9:30am. I went to my friends house to wait. 5:15pm rolls around and no one calls. So I call....the service dept answering machine goes on. I'm livid....I call the sales sept which is open until 6pm. They transfer me to John...he picks up. I say John can I come and pick my car up. He says no...we never touched it...we were too busy. And there are no technicians who are able to do your job on Sat from 8 to 4pm . So is Monday OK? I reluctantly said ok....hung up the phone and went to read the reviews.....apparently I missed all the 1 star or less reviews on this guy John Spina. I decided to get my Truck out of there on Mon at 8am. You won't believe this ....when I asked for my keys, they said I owe them money. i said what for? you didn't work on my truck. John said you owe us $54 dollars for the tech looking at your truck. I said that took 2 minutes....I'm not paying .....I went off on a triage, and the Dealership manager bellowed from another office..."John..give him his keys....we'll work on it later". The icing on the cake was they parked my truck under a tree and it had bird crap all over it. These guys are the epitome of rudeness, thievery and deception. STAY AWAY More
