Waste of time! go to buy a new TRX RAM and wasted 90 minutes of my time to only find out this dealer was going to tac on a $10,000 FEE onto the MSRP. Called Kruger Auto in Waverly Iowa and $0 added to minutes of my time to only find out this dealer was going to tac on a $10,000 FEE onto the MSRP. Called Kruger Auto in Waverly Iowa and $0 added to a new TRX RAM Truck. I went to UNI 25 years ago and Dan Deery had an "iffy" reputation then and I see they have not changed at all! Waste of time and not worth going there is they are going to do the good ole bait and switch on clients! With this said, my sales guy was very nice but I wish he had told me about the +$10,000 over MSRP before I wasted 90 minutes! REDICULOUS! More
I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but I'm about fed up. The sales person I worked with was great until the deal was done and he got his commission. Then i had to schedule an appointment to get the bodywork done and fender flares put on (that I didn't want). Was told by their service department that the work should take 1-2 days to complete. I called on day 4 only to find that they had no idea whether the work had been done or not and that they would find out and call me back (still waiting for that call). I really wanted to enjoy my experience and return for business but I just don't feel great about the situation. Customer satisfaction should be rule #1! More
service advisors are rude I've grown up in their dealership as well as the Toyota one. Let me just say, the advisors at the Toyota store are much more polite. I've had one good experience with the Chrysler store. Otherwise, the advisors seem to be fairly rude and young. The last time I went in, one advisor just kept walking passed everyone standing in line and checking his phone! -I don't think he is there anymore. They just give off the impression that you are wasting their time. I always ask for a wash/vac when I take my vehicle in and they always make it seem like a big deal. Like okay, I won't bring my business to you? Idk just not the service you'd expect. I only deal with Blaine the service manager or Marv Cooper in the service department. Everyone else is just rude. Did buy my vehicle from there and the salesmen and manager in sales were very kind and helpful. More
Charged for nothing The service provider was polite and helpful, but the work they did was not good. Asked for them to look at uconnect system, they charged me 169.00 to tell me a replacement uconnect radio is 1600.00. Then they drained my battery. They left my ignition on when they checked the system. I will never take my truck there again, and I certainly won't purchase a vehicle there. I get treated a lot better at the Marshalltown dealership. I thought they might be better at knowing my uconnect system, I was wrong. Place is a total joke. More
BAD all around Worst experience i have ever had. Wife needed a new or newer van and we went to Deery first as we had done so much business with them in the past. W Worst experience i have ever had. We have purchased 3 new cars and a couple almost new (including this one) used vehicles from them. To tell the truth, the van she bought could have been bought anywhere for that price, it was no special deal at all. We were insulted at the trade value offered for her van. They offered $500 and this is only half of the very low end of the trade in value scale and especially since it had an almost new set of $650 tires and $800 worth of all new exhaust. In fact, i told them we were not trading it in to THEM and made a phone call and had her van sold in 5 minutes for almost 4 times their offer, and that is even WAY below private party sales value (i did my homework on values). Next we were supposed to get 2 keys with it and had to go in 3 different times to get that done because after over a WEEK they still didn't have the info from the factory to program the key. This AFTER they had told us they had all the information needed to do the job. We spent a total of at least 6 hours between driving and waiting for the key that took 3 visits. Are you kidding.....3 times? After having the van in their lot for several days, they still hadn't even cleaned it out yet when we went to look at it, it was a mess inside. Overall the WORST experience i have EVER had buying a vehicle. I only give them a 1 star rating because my wife does like her van More
Terrible Experience with Dan Deery Waterloo....SAD!!! Ram was having a GREAT SPECIAL RATE AND SALE and I needed a new Ram 3500. I called up the people named below and started the process of trading in my Ram was having a GREAT SPECIAL RATE AND SALE and I needed a new Ram 3500. I called up the people named below and started the process of trading in my truck, getting a GREAT DEAL, working with some GREAT PEOPLE and was I wrong. I called up and told them about the truck I wanted and they said no issue. The next day (24 hours later) they called to let me know they had a truck that met my specs. They made an offer on my truck (which was fair), gave me the monthly payment (which I was hesitant at first but agreed), then ran my credit (which is well about 750) and said all was good with it and THEN SILENCE FOR A DAY!!! As it turns out, THE DEALER WHO HAD THE TRUCK WOULD NOT TO GIVE IT UP!!! SO.....NOW I HAD NO TRUCK, THE RAM INCENTIVES OF 0% FOR 84 WAS EXPIRING AMD MY CREDIT SCORE WAS 6 POINTS LOWER!!!! If you are looking for a dealership that is honest and has integrity....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I AM SO SADDENED BY THE FACT THAT A DEALERSHIP I ONCE GAVE 5 STARS TO HAS NOW, IN THIS ENVIRONMENT OF COVID-19, HAS DECIDED TO MISLEAD BUYERS. I AM WRITING TO THE EXECUTIVES OF DODGE RAM MY EXPERIENCE AND DISTRUST. BTW, KYLE WHO WAS HELPING THROUGH THIS SITUATION (AND IS A VETERAN LIKE ME) WAS NOT THE ISSUE!! I was running into problems with my co-signer having to be on the title which created a whole other set of issure for us and he worked hard with the bank to make it possible for my name to only be on the title.
