We drove from Waukee and wanted to make sure that the cars were there before we left, and discovered that 2 of the 3 had already sold, but we were interested most in the 3rd so we travel to see it. We were met by the GM Dustin Deery and he introduced us to our salesperson Mike Elling who gave us great details on the car. We made arrangements to test drive the vehicle, and made the decision to purchase it. In all we worked with at least four different people with Dan Deary Toyota with the whole process including Josh Miller our first contact via email and Jake Van Den Broeke the finance, business manager. We did this because we live 6 hours from the dealership and this was our daughters first nice vehicle purchase, So we got on the road a bit before 6 am and arrived at the dealership around noon, all of the paperwork was ready and the vehicle was backed into a parking spot waiting for us when we arrived. Now mind you this was a toyota certified used car and not some junker, as we looked the vehicle over "thankfully before signing paperwork" we noticed numerous poorly fixed scratches, an incense stick wedged between the dash and the windshield just not the best first impression. The real slap in the face was the major damage on the roof it appears that a tree branch had fallen on it and no one at the dealership mentioned the damage once in all of our conversations, in fact they acted surprised that there was damage absolutely impossible to miss this as it went from one side to the other. I would like to thank Dan Deery Toyota for wasting most of my weekend, wasting my money on gas and mostly for teaching my daughter that people are dishonest no matter how nice they seem. More
