Excellent salesman in Cody. He was very responsive and on point when I purchased my new 4 Runner. Very knowledgeable of the Toyota brand. Purchased the vehicle over the phone. Honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. I purchase a 2016 Mazda CX- 5 on May 18th, I had the car for ONE WEEK and drove the car twice before it broke down on May 25th and I had to have I purchase a 2016 Mazda CX- 5 on May 18th, I had the car for ONE WEEK and drove the car twice before it broke down on May 25th and I had to have it towed back to the dealership (on my dime I might add). Where they held it until July 18th!! Issue after issue with this car and they ended up replacing the whole engine. Communication was atroucious, I could never get any updates on when my car would be ready or even what the issue was. Leaving voicemail after voicemail with no return calls or they would promise to give me an update and then I would never get a call. Until finally my dad called and they got back to him right away. (I will say this lack of communication is also on the Mazda dealership as they had to tow my car there for the repair). Communication got a bit better but I was constantly told "Your car should be done by X date" only for that to be completely false. I was told to call the Mazda dealership for updates and then I was told I should *NOT* be calling the Mazda dealership and then I was again told, "if you want an update on your car, call the Mazda dealership" Totally conflicting information and very frustrating. They did pay in full for the repair as not only did I purchase the extended warranty but it also had the "Dan Deery Certified" warranty. I honestly wasn't going to leave a review, I know sometimes crappy situations happen and it was handled very poorly but I don't like to be a negative person! However today I was informed I'm not able to register my car due to the PREVIOUS owner of the car having tinted windows and getting written up for it. Dan Deery either didn't know this or didn't care as I was never informed of this. I now have to take my car to get it inspected by the sheriffs office and then submit that my car passed the inspection to the county before I can even register my car. Overall, I can NOT recommend purchasing a car here. The customer service is terrible. They don't care about the cars they put on the lot, and they certainly don't really care about you as a customer. However they definitely have a lot of nice cars! So if one catches your eye I would suggest having your own personal mechanic (NOT one from Dan Deery) check it over before you purchase any cars from them. Just my 2 cents and maybe a little venting from a very frustrating past few months. (I don't remember the financing guys name but he was great, only positive experience I had) More
We have a fleet of vehicles that we service at Dan Deery, as well we have purchased them all at Dan Deery. We are very pleased with their dealership.
