Broke down in two days I purchased a car through their Bridgeport location, and was originally impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were willing to negotiate price and even stayed late to complete the paperwork. HOWEVER, the 2016 car I bought started having issues the first day I drove it, and wouldn't even start within a few days. After getting stranded and several failed attempts to get it serviced (they had trouble accessing the warranty they sold me), I was told the problem was likely a recalled part. I specifically asked the salesman about this recall and he said it had been taken care of, so quite concerning that they either 1) lied or 2) don't have up-to-date info on their own cars. After some forceful phone conversations, I got a free oil change to "compensate" me for the hassle. The service center at their White Hall location was easy to work with, but it took a week to get the car back and it was dirty with an empty gas tank. No one from Dan Cava’s customer service followed up with me, otherwise I would have been willing to negotiate for not giving them bad reviews. More

Great service dept and personnel. I’ve had a few service appointments for warranty and maintenance. I had an excellent experience with coffee and snacks while waiting. Part missing after service After my service appointment I noticed my skid plate was missing off my Tacoma. I contacted the service advisor for my vehicle and told them I noticed it was missing two days after my appointment. My advisor stated she would ask the tech who serviced it if he removed it and he couldn’t remember. You cannot change the oil in my truck without removing it. It was obvious by looking at it it was just removed. The only thing I was told when the advisor called back that it was not in the techs working area and she could patch me over to parts to order a new one. No real concern that a customer vehicle was missing a part after the service. I will not take my truck there again. More

I had tried to call before going to pick up my car but again no answer. I had requested for my car to be cleaned inside and out which is supposed to be part of Toyota Care service and a smart aleck comment was made to me about that. Too bad the service department has gone downhill fast........shame. I’ll think twice before buying another Toyota. More

"Our trip was worth it" I was a little reluctant to drive 3 hours one way to look at a used vehicle, however, was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We met with J.R. Tiano I was a little reluctant to drive 3 hours one way to look at a used vehicle, however, was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We met with J.R. Tiano for our scheduled appointment, the vehicle (2011 4Runner) was ready for our test drive and J.R. was able to answer all of our questions. The negotiations over price could not have been easier and the dealership staff was very friendly and professional. All of this combined will definitely earn our business in the future !!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED More
1st class,custemer treatment in sales and service I bought 2 Tacomas at this dealership and was treated good both times,my last one is a 2008 I got new and have been very pleased with it.I brought it I bought 2 Tacomas at this dealership and was treated good both times,my last one is a 2008 I got new and have been very pleased with it.I brought it back after 7 years for a frame inspection at the dealer. they informed me of some surface rust and scheduled me for a free frame rust coat treatment.I was met at service desk by enterprise rep who furnished me with a free rental car while treating my truck.the whole experience was very pleasant and only took a day of service. I am not used to being treated so good at a dealer service center, I am impressed to say the least! other dealers and car companies should take note! More

Poor Everything. Don't Buy Here. My 3 year old Highlander that I bought from this dealer started burning a lot of oil. I took it to Dan Cava Toyota and they told me that it needed a new engine and they wouldn't be covering any of the cost. The vehicle was always well maintained, but not by this dealer. I'll never buy another toyota. The service person was a real jerk, too. More
