I was very unhappy with the staff's behavior and lack of honesty. I've served in the military for a majority of my life and someone's word means a lot to me and I frankly don't trust their organization to d honesty. When I made an agreement with their employee Brock James to come down on the 6th of May to pick up the car I bought tickets, rented a car and put the 1000 dollar hold on my card committing myself to the purchase. I specifically asked him if it was okay for me to come down a bit later (on the 6th) given my work schedule and he said that it wouldn't be a problem. I signed a similar document indicating my commitment to purchasing. However, it does not appear that their organization feels similarly with regard to commitments and when it was possible that the car could be delivered on the last day of April instead, their team was considering selling to another buyer (I'm guessing because of something related to commission or selling volume prescribed by the manufacturer). Given the uncertainty of the delivery date which I understand is beyond control it is not an honest way to do business to consider selling to another buyer if a delivery date flexes by a single day or two. I was asked to buy the car if the car arrived on the last day of the month (without seeing or driving it) if I could not make it over last minute or the implication was that the vehicle could be sold to someone else. I was not going to purchase a vehicle I had not driven because even manufacturers have defects. This caused me a lot of frustration and stress because I had an upcoming reserve military deployment to Tunisia for a few weeks that I've just been finishing up and wouldn't have had the opportunity to even begin looking for a car until returning given that I had already committed myself to their dealership. This was an incredibly unpleasant experience for me and not one I am looking to repeat. Contrary to the google reviews of this dealer, was very surprised by the dealer's poor behavior and lack of honesty. My family has always owned toyotas due to their reliability but this experience has made me reconsider that notion going forward. More
Best vehicle purchase experience I have ever had. I had been looking for a new Highlander Hybrid with only the options I wanted in either blue or red. Another dealer had something similar listed but not available. Tried to get me into an over optioned one. Didn't want to waste money on things I don't want. I saw that there was one listed in McMinnville that was so close to what I wanted so I called and connected with Leeanne. She told me it had already sold AND she asked me what I wanted in my SUV. She said she would look to see what was available around. I had finally had hope that I might get something close to what I wanted. She called me back the next day and said she had found one out of the area that was exactly what I wanted in red that was on order. She and Brian would try to facilitate an dealer trade and have it delivered to McMinnville. No guarantee they could get it but they would try. They were able to make it happen some how and I was thrilled. They told me the exact cost to prepare. It took a while to get through the Toyota build queue and she called me every week to give me updates. The day it was built the manager called me to tell me that it had been built (April 7) and would be shipped. It arrived before schedule and I picked it up that weekend. I am so thrilled with my experience and results. Leeanne is so amazing to work with. I would absolutely go there for my next car. More
BEWARE OF Damian Lillard Toyota SERVICE CENTER Here is my personal experience and opinions, based on the lack of quality, customer, service, and accountability, or the lack there of We made an appoint my personal experience and opinions, based on the lack of quality, customer, service, and accountability, or the lack there of We made an appointment for a Saturday oil change and multipoint inspection. When we arrived, they said we did not have an appointment! I reminded them that I made the appointment, but it was their staff who didn’t follow through! After a 40 minute round trip, we made the trek back the following Saturday Once we got the oil change, the paperwork they handed us said we refused the multi point inspection! Absolutely ignorant because it was included in the oil change price. Another ignorant staff member miss documenting accordingly. One error after another. As I drove out of the parking lot and headed to Highway 47, my whole dash and steering wheel vibrated violently! We immediately turned around and went back to the dealer where they had determined the technician dumped a chipmunk nest and shells into the air cabin fan! ignorant staff! The technician stuck his hand down and pulled it all out. Glenn has very large hands, and it filled both his hands together! I am not confident that my oil change was done properly, and we still don’t know if the multi point inspection was done. When I drove home, a 20 minute drive, my car engine light went on with two PO codes! I took it back to the dealer and they said it was probably the oxygen sensors but that they didn’t look bad and no mice got to them but that is probably what it is and they are under warranty! After they replaced two oxygen sensors. I drove the 20 minutes home, and the same lights came back on! I also had the same PO codes You’ve got it right! Headed back out for a 20 minute drive, 40 minute round-trip to see if somebody can do their job, right . Now they are telling me that my seal on my sunroof is leaking and getting into the electrical down by the right passenger floorboard and that is what is causing these codes and messages and they say it is not covered and that I need to pay them $1300 not to replace the seal but to replace the whole glass with the seal! I did report in 2019 that water was dripping on me and Mcminnville and Wilsonville Toyota could not find the problem but they did neglect to document appropriately and accordingly so they say I need to pay the $1300! The factory confirmed that I made a phone call in 2022 and this was after I got no results from the Wilson in Mill Toyota and the Mcminnville Toyota. Neither one of them could figure out why water was dripping on my hand or right I asked axle who is the service manager if they replace this $1300 glass sunroof and seal and the codes still come up and this is not the actual fix for these electrical codes is he going to give me my money back and he said no! Our 2018 Toyota Highlander hybrid was $57,000 and that included an extra 100,000 mile warranty. I only have 60,000 miles on it and I am literally getting screwed. Every time I pull into The Damian Lillard Toyota I can expect to get screwed royally! Axle has no motivation whatsoever to trust the customer even after we pointed out that the past documentations lacked substance, he continues to confess his hands are tied! Absolutely pathetic No accountability whatsoever. More
