Great service and warranty on the work completed. I was worried I was unable to get my vehicle fixed before the weekend was over and they over delivered. Thank you so much!!! Dropped off vehicle for repair of oil leak and recall on fuel pump relay, which I suspected was causing the Jeep to not start sporadically. Jeep was in shop for 2 weeks and I authorized a few “recommended” fuel pump relay, which I suspected was causing the Jeep to not start sporadically. Jeep was in shop for 2 weeks and I authorized a few “recommended” repairs they derived from their 27 multi-point inspection including spark plugs, and complete fuel service clean (throttle unit, all fuel injectors including decarbing of manifold). Jeep has less than 88,000 miles and has been very well maintained. They recommended over $10,000 in repairs including replacing drive shaft and rack & pinion steering. So, after $2,533.01 in repairs I pickup my Jeep Grand Cherokee, drive it home, then to the grocery store. The second time I attempt to start it, same exact “no start” issue and stranded at the grocery store. More
A frustrating experience, to say the least. Two visits and over 9 hrs of wait time later, our simple recall issue is finally fixed. We set up an appointment because we were told the parts were in to fix a recall that they called us to schedule. After having the car in the bay for over an hour, we were told that the parts were not there. They wanted the car left with them to wait for the parts. Had we done that, they would have had it for 72 hrs and they said no loaner car was available. Unable to be without a car for an unknown amount of time, they put the car back together temporarily and sent us on our way. The part came in and we were back there 2 days after the first visit. 7 hrs of waiting and the simple recall fix was finally done. How the fix took 7 hours, I have no idea. Especially when we were told it would be 4 hrs that even that seemed excessive for the type of repair being done. No updates about the delays in repair were offered through the day. To top it all off, the total for a very fast add on service came out over 20% more than quoted. Honestly, this has been a par for the course experience with Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealerships. The lackluster customer service, insane up charges, and overall just poor experience has become too familiar. Hence why only when we have one of the many recalls to address do we go to the dealer. You’re much better off with your local mechanic that you trust for good and honest service. More
