Nathan Dutton has been so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient during my purchase of a used car that I've always wanted but never dreamed of owning. patient during my purchase of a used car that I've always wanted but never dreamed of owning. More
In late February my family bought a used car from Dale Willey Honda. The sales person we worked with Thomas and his sales manager assured us multiple times that the car was extremely well maintained. It Willey Honda. The sales person we worked with Thomas and his sales manager assured us multiple times that the car was extremely well maintained. It also came with a 30 day warranty. Sounds great – HOWEVER – two weeks into driving the car it became clear that there was something wrong with the brakes. When we took it back to have it looked at, their repair people said the brakes need to be replaced. One would think that this would be covered by the 30 day warranty, but now we were being told by the sales manager that it is not covered and they refused to do anything about it. After some back-and-forth, they did offer us 10% off the cost of repair – which is a joke. This place is dishonest and unhelpful, and their “warranties” for used cars are obviously worthless. More
Bought a pretty 2013 chevy equinox with 80,000 miles on it in December 2019. By end of January engine light on, needed over 1,000 in repairs. We bought the warranty as the finance guy basically pleaded to it in December 2019. By end of January engine light on, needed over 1,000 in repairs. We bought the warranty as the finance guy basically pleaded to us not to get the car without the warranty, shouldve known then. Told a "solid vehicle" paid a premium price, 15,000. Has been back to ole Willy several times for more costly repairs totalling near what we paid..today, January 13, 2020..another hit and not covered, 1800.oo bucks for a catalytic converter. Back on the 2nd repair made within months of buying, asked to speak to the manager, tried to ask for a little compromise on this vehicle..he said, and I quote, " I dont have to do anything for you." So, buyer beware. Selling off wholesale cars and urging you to buy a warranty so they can make 10,000 off ya more..stay away!! More
For a GM dealer they behave much more akin to a Carhop or buy here-pay here lot. Purchased a GMC Denali, with the extended warranty. In less than 6 months the A/C Actuator stuck, the battery completely died, buy here-pay here lot. Purchased a GMC Denali, with the extended warranty. In less than 6 months the A/C Actuator stuck, the battery completely died, and the catalytic converter went out. Service required us to bring the SUV into the shop, where they charged us a diagnostic. The battery cost over $100 to replace (not covered under their extended warranty). The A/C Actuator was over $500 to replace (not covered under their extended warranty). The Catalytic converter they wouldn't provide a price over the phone, and instead insisted on forcing us to drive back into the shop so they could charge another diagnostic (despite the check engine light being on following the last diagnostic) and the service tech said "I don't know if it's covered, I'm not the warranty department". The Used Car Manager Steven Cain, when told of our debacle said, "if we replaced everything on our cars to make our customers happy, we'd go out of business". There you have it. The Used Car Manager said their profit model is based on sticking customers with whatever problems the cars on their lot have, and their customer service is more of a "not my problem" approach. Buyer beware. Horrible shady used car salesmen. Worthless customer service. No attention to detail in the service shop. No response from upper management or "corporate". Stay far away from this unscrupulous dealer. More
Caution!! I write to you from the side of the road off K10 as I wait for a tow truck. My sixty day tag still giving it that new car look in the beautiful fall weather. I think about how happy I was when I K10 as I wait for a tow truck. My sixty day tag still giving it that new car look in the beautiful fall weather. I think about how happy I was when I purchased this car from this dealership three weeks ago today (10/14/20). Poor and rushed diagnostics checks have already costed me almost as much as my down payment ($1,600.00) and don’t think management will bother accepting any blame. Instead he’ll try and make you feel like we did you a favor for selling you the car at the price we did! Buy someplace else and pay a little extra for a peace of mind. More
Deceptive sales tactics. Unfriendly, Unprofessional. DO NOT TRUST THEM. DO NOT GIVE THEM A "NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. What you should believe is the negative revi sales tactics. Unfriendly, Unprofessional. DO NOT TRUST THEM. DO NOT GIVE THEM A "NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. What you should believe is the negative reviews. Those people are not lying. Drove a distance to get a newer vehicle. They do not inform you about the entire condition of the vehicle. They will lie to make a sale. This is straight from the salesmans mouth. "All used vehicles are damaged." This was a 2018. No way used vehicles are damaged. My 2015 truck is better than this. They do not work for you they work for themselves and could careless about the customer. They may make it seem like they do but it is smoke and mirrors. Do not trust the pictures they post online. The vehicle we wanted when we arrived had gouges in the interior, scratches in the paint. Then we were told "ohh a Father and son buy a vehicle from us every month so we take care of them". that tells me they only care about people that blow a crap ton of money with them and not anyone else. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALER. SOMETHING WILL BE WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE THAT THEY ARE NOT TELLING YOU. Food for thought...Notice how they never question any good review and make sure someone actually bought from them...They only question anyone that leaves a bad review....I bet they make multiple google accounts and leave themselves good reviews. Felt cheated and disrespected Took my 93 Suburban in to repair front seat - it was leaning further and further back - would not stay in up-right position. Was given an estimate an Took my 93 Suburban in to repair front seat - it was leaning further and further back - would not stay in up-right position. Was given an estimate and a brief explanation of work to be done - basically they'd have to take the seat apart to get at the problem. Got a call a day or so later. The tech found a new problem - seat frame had two breaks in it, but they did not have the capability to weld/repair it. I picked up the seat, took it to an outside shop. the outside shop welded the seat frame AND fixed the seat back so that it would remain stable in the up-right position. At that point, all the tech needed to do was to re-install the seat. The critical piece here is that the Dealer's shop did not make the repair for which I brought the truck in. They did replace two seat components (the risers - the 'stands' that support the seat off the floor of the truck). When I picked the truck up - I was billed for the original amount estimated - even though they did not make the repair for which I brought the truck in to them. The two risers they replaced - may or may not have needed to be replaced - they were not shown to me. The two parts had an up-charge of $76.00 apiece (making them $200.00 each). I found same parts on line, new, for $126.00. I had multiple fone calls with customer rep, several emails with customer rep, left voice mail for service manager (no return call), multiple emails later with both customer rep and service manager, and even started copying the general manager (who never responded). They disregarded my questions and concerns, and for the most part simply repeated that they had given me a quote and I had approved the quote and work. I asked for some reimbursement - to no avail. The irony here: for refusing to work with me (they never asked me what they could do to make it right/better) they gained approximately $700.00 (roughly the amount I asked for in reimbursement). But they've lost any hope of me buying my next truck (or two) from them - what's the profit margin on a new, or even a used truck sale for them? Probably more than $700.00. My wife is wanting a new/newer car in the next year. I wanted to go with a Chevy. That may happen, but not at our hometown Chevy dealer. Hmmmmm . . . what would the profit margin be on a new/newer Chevy for my wife? More than $700.00? And, I've shared my experience with other trades guys with whom I work. Yeah, they all drive trucks. They may or may not look at this dealer, but if they don't - those lost sales are probably worth more than $700.00. If you treat people right, act honorably - they will come back. If you don't - you'll lose them forever. More
Never Lawrence Do not buy a used vehicle from here. They just want to get it out. Sold me a car with a leak in one of the tires then said they do not "fix" tires wit Do not buy a used vehicle from here. They just want to get it out. Sold me a car with a leak in one of the tires then said they do not "fix" tires within the first 30 days. I had mentioned it before purchasing if they had taken care of it, but they simply filled it with air. They do not care about ensuring the car works, just care that it works long enough for them to make the sale. After sale they constantly call you wanting you to bring them more customers and to rate them. More
