I'm very frustrated and disappointed with the type of service that I've received from this dealership. I've purchased over 12 vehicles from this dealership over the past 15 years. I left once because ano service that I've received from this dealership. I've purchased over 12 vehicles from this dealership over the past 15 years. I left once because another dealership gave me a better deal so I ended up buying a Dodge truck that I was very happy with everything was perfect. The price, payment and trade value was just what they told me it would be. I only had 2 more years left on my truck it was in excellent condition with low mileage. The dealership contacted me through a letter stating that they wanted to buy my truck and give me a good deal on a chevrolet truck. So I came in test drove a few vehicles. And ended up buying not one but 2 vehicles that day. I purchased a truck that I wasn't sure about and a suv that I was happy with. We talked about me keeping the truck for a few months and trading it in at a later time the salesman assured that it would be possible and I was fine it even though I felt like I had gotten a terrible deal because I traded in a 2019 truck with low miles for a 2018 with higher mileage and my payments went up so that really didn't make sense to me but I went with it. Until I had a salesman out of the blue call me asking me about the truck and was I happy with the deal. I explained to him how I felt about it and he told me that he was going to make it his business to look at some other trucks that would work for me. He even went as far as to tell me that he was going to send me photos of different trucks over the next few days. Well that didn't happen I was so frustrated I went in and posted a negative review. That's when the calls started from different people wanting to know what was wrong. Well I talked to another salesman and he asked me to give him a chance to make things right and I agreed to give him a chance to earn my trust back. Well to no surprise he dropped the ball when I needed to talk to him he never responded. The new reliable truck that I purchased started acting up and the check engine light came on just days before I was supposed to drive it out of town for a funeral. Needless to say I wasn't comfortable driving it not knowing if it was going to put me down on the highway. I don't think that it's fair to me to have a truck that I just purchased only a little over a month ago and not be able to drive it out of town. So since I didn't get a response from the salesman I called the service department to see if they would be able to take a look at my vehicle maybe before I go on my trip. But to no surprise they told me no so I had to make other arrangements to go out of town. But the very same day that I returned from my trip the dealership called my phone but not to ask me about the situation with my truck but they were trying to get in touch with my mom about trading her truck in. The only reason that my mom purchased a vehicle from the dealership was because I brought her there. And if she was thinking about trading her vehicle for a newer one she want be coming back to that dealership. I'm actually dreading bringing my vehicle in on Thursday to have the check engine light checked out. I have an appointment at 8am but I'm preparing to stay all day because it's happened before I'm not looking to get out of there before 3pm especially if it's something major going on with my vehicle. It may be the fact that they sold it to me without a gas cap and I noticed that on the driver side the front door paint is a darker shade than the rear door so it makes the truck look two tone. It's the little things like this makes me think that they just patched the vehicle up just enough to get it sold and maybe I'm wrong but it only takes a few minutes to go back over something that's this expensive to make sure everything is right. To me that's good customer service and care. Even on the suv that I purchased and was very happy with is missing the rear windshield wiper blade that should have been noticed when they were detailing the vehicle for delivery. There again it's the little things that matter. Thanks Earl Chambers More
Spent 42k there in a used truck. Was told they were going to detail and fuel up. Came back to get the truck. No detail and gas was on empty. I asked and was told they only put 3 gallons of gas in as a courtesy. Lol. And the detail well I’ll have done myself. More
Dale Earnhardt deserves better. My first (and last) encounter with this dealership was a mess, and this was just for a 5,000 mile check-up for my 2021 Chevy Bolt. Since I do not My first (and last) encounter with this dealership was a mess, and this was just for a 5,000 mile check-up for my 2021 Chevy Bolt. Since I do not have a certified EV service where I live, this was the closest location, about an hour away. Hence, I made an appointment, explained my situation to the person taking my call, and showed up in the morning as scheduled. The individual checking me in was also made aware of the fact that I am from out of town. When I returned to the dealership 4 hours later (I visited the La Fayette Heritage Trail Park to kill some time) they had not even started working on my car yet. It should also point out that a location as large as this one is doing a poor job taking care of customers (I had to wait too long before anyone even recognized my presence) and/or making them feel welcome (no complimentary coffee and/or donuts for those waiting), and it didn't help that the broken loudspeaker system was making an annoying noise. After a total of about five hours for a scheduled appointment/service that takes less than 30 minutes, I finally got my car back so I could drive home. To make this experience even more bizarre, the individual that "handled" my case asked my to write a good review (for what?) and I also received an email by now offering me a free trial of 4-months of Sirius XM (I am already a subscriber). So thank you ... but NO thank you. More
