The sales person and sales manager tried to low-ball me by several thousand dollars on my trade without reducing the new vehicle price to compensate. When we finally came to an agreement and I noticed there was only one set of keys (on an 11 month old vehicle) I told the salesman Aaron Hicks I needed the second set as I will use the truck to pull my camper on long trips, and accidental lockouts are not an option. He assured me that the keys were on site and he would locate them. The following day, the salesman followed up the sale, and I told him again I needed the second set of keys. Two weeks later I end up spending half a day's vacation from work and $295.00 to get new key and remote programmed at my local Chevrolet dealer in Valdosta. I have emailed the general manager Tracy Thacker of Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet but received no reply as of today. Needless to say I will not buy from this dealership again, or recommend it to anyone else. Update to this review 2/16/2018 I was just contacted by Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet and informed that they would be sending a check to reimburse me for the cost of having a replacement key made. They admitted I had been promised a second key, and apologized for their mistake. More

Love the car but it had a minor issue with the harmonic balancer so they supposedly replaced the balancer so a month later here I am with a broke balancer that also caused damage to the ac compressor they replaced the balancer with no issue but want to charge me $1900 dollars for a new ac compressor on a car I’ve only had for 1 month and haven’t even made the first payment yet I’ve been fight with management which is totally unprofessional from top to bottom. So just word of advice never do business with this shady dealership go somewhere else anywhere and they also have no respect for you’re time More

Their high pressure sales approach is deplorable and leaves you feeling mentally and emotionally assaulted. My niece went in with the hopes of buying a used car, I made prior calls to assess availability of a car within her budget and was assured she would have plenty of options (also this was confirmed by their availability on their website), I specifically asked she be well treated and looked after, especially because she was in need of car due to an accident (her car was totaled due to a driver running a red light). "Rambo" is a poor excuse of a "gentleman" and a despicable salesperson. He attempted to stop her from leaving after she said 3x "I just want to leave and go home" he left her in his office to just manipulate her and her situation. Also of note I called the general manager to voice my complaint and concerns of how she was treated - had to leave a message with his secretary telling her it was very important Tracy call me back - unfortunately and as to be expected he did not return my call over 5 days later (by the way - he was in his office). I am not surprised Tracy did not call me back, it's obvious this work culture starts at the top. She finally found what she needed at CarMax - no hassle and the interest rate was 3% less. My advice...go elsewhere for many reasons. More
FSU Student Getting Schooled by Poor Serviced Department My son attends FSU. He took car in.to repair Stabiltrak warning light issue. They recommended services totally $1,300. Fix Stabiltrak sensor. They recommended a $59.99 battery service to clean corrosion ( LOL). While driving a couple days later the Stabiltrak warning light came on again. Back to the dealership again only to find they want another $450 to fix Stabiltrak. Decided not to proceed. I had their bill reviewed by a service manager of a large dealership in Orlando that i know and he said the labor charges were a little on the STIFF side I have to admit that this that I authorized their recommendations while i was in a meeting and should have questioned their aggressive service recommendations. As my son is responsible for service on the car and was on campus for his very first week, I did not want him depressed from a $1,300 charge hanging over his head. My Young student is getting schooled and I warn all parents of FSU that this might not be the dealership you trust. As this is a college town, a little professional advice on what needs to be fixed as opposed to recommending everything be fixed would be appreciated by most parents. I am in search of a dealership that has the students interest not the what makes the most money for the dealership. They were also very happy to talk to him in sales about buying a new usd car as he can't stand the unreliability of the 2010 Certified Preowned Equinox. Not much to like about GM quality or dealership at this point.This is our 4th time in for major service on AC/Stabiltrak in 14,000 miles. I have complained to GM about the experience. In summary, brought car in because of Stabiltrak issue, We have had everything fixed they recommended. One week later: Dealership has our money, we have car with Stabiltrak still on. More

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Again, Im sure this is going to the same people I have already talked to, I just want this on record! I absolutely despise having to come here! I bring my car on Saturday and I'm told its a transmission issue that will be covered under my warranty, bring it back Monday for the tranny specialist. Then after bringing it back I'm told its my spark plugs and I have to pay $360 for them to replace them AND that may not fix the issue. Keep in mind the tech drove my car on the interstate and then the check engine light came on. My check engine light was not on when I left it there. I was told by the manager and another associate that a cracked spark plug will cause the check engine light to come on. That leads me to believe that this happened on the interstate. Then I'm told that what happens to my car while its in their care is NOT their responsibility. That was insulting. I understand the policy of when they check your car, if its a problem not covered under warranty then you are responsible, but I was told that it would be. What should have happened Saturday was I should have been told that we dont know what was wrong with you car, that way I come back knowing there is a chance I may have to pay. Because at the end kf the day just got a tune up a couple of months ago and the spark plugs are under warranty so I could have, and I am, went back to the place that tuned it up and got them replaced free. I only came to Chevy because my car was having the SAME issue that it had the previous two time I brought my car in this year and it was covered under my warranty. Now this third time its the spark plugs. Me hating coming here started two years ago when my pistol, thats right my GUN was stolen out of my glove compartment during a routine oil change. This is the reason I take everything out of my car now when I come here. I have probably six complaints on record here and I've never been offered anything!!!! Screw this place and I wish nothing but the worse on this establishment and anything that has anything to do with it. I hope an act of God destroys this place in Jesus name Amen. More

In this instance, my car was towed in because of an informational message of the AC shutting off because of high engine temps. I was actually given a report that says customer installed thermostat and failed to reset codes. I was made to feel foolish because: A. No thermostat had been installed B. The car did the exact same thing the next day. The very next day I bring it back and the thermostat, water pump and coolant container all need to be replaced. My question, did anyone look at my car Monday 4/10/17? Or did they just reset the codes? This is likely the last straw. I have bought at least 4 cars from there. While the service advisor Teresa did a great job, the service technicians let me down again and again. Why can these problems not be fixed? More
Horrible Service I bought a 2015 Silverado from Dale Earnhardt on Decemeber 24th, 2015 and since then it has been in the shop for over 30 days, most of the days with I bought a 2015 Silverado from Dale Earnhardt on Decemeber 24th, 2015 and since then it has been in the shop for over 30 days, most of the days without a rental or loaner to drive. It is in their shop now(March 6th, 2016) for the 3rd transfer case repair. The service manager is telling me it will be at least another week before GM can tell him to repair or replace the transfer case. He said the only person with the entire GM company to make that call is on vacation in the Bahamas for the week. I have asked the dealership, both sales and service, for assistance in either buying back this truck or getting me a replacement truck. When my truck was only 5 months old with 5k miles on it Dale Earnhardt's sales manager, Barbie Jordan, tried selling me a new truck for $14,000 more for exact same truck, this was her way of trying to "help me out". I have also contacted Chevrolet customer care with very little help from them. I feel like I'm just being strung along until my warranty runs out since I've been dealing with the exact same issue for over a year now. This is the 7th Chevrolet/GMC truck that I've owned but it will be my last if something doesn't change in their customer service department. More

This dealership sold us a vehicle 9 months ago and and the brakes went out on it along with other issues. And the only thing that Mr. Rusty could come up with is it needed a oil change!?! Really!!! If that was the case we would've took the truck back to them for the oil change! We did have a free oil change with them! That sounded suspect! 🤔really didn't make any sense to us!! So again people what ever you do RUN!!! IT'S ONLY ABOUT MAKING A SALE WITH THEM!!! THE STORE IS LOCATED ON WEST TENNESSEE ST, TALLAHASSEE FL , One more thing we were told by Rusty and one his salesmen that our credit union didn't want us back in the suv.. I am really surprised the way my last purchased was handled, I traded a 2014 Chevy Silverado LTZ 4x4 for a 2016 LT and not 4x4, IT WAS A DALE JR ADDITION MY 2014 HAD 20" TIRES AND WHEELS AND THE NEW TRUCK CAME WITH 18" TIRES AND WHEELS. SO BECAUSE I PULL A CAMPER I ASKED MY SALESMAN AND HIS MANAGER IF THEY WOULD TRADE ME 20" TIRES AND WHEELS FOR THE 18" TIRES WHEELS ON THE NEW TRUCK. WELL THAT WAS A MISTAKE BY MY SALEMAN AND SALES MANAGER, I WAS TOLD EVERYTHING WHY NOT TO PAYING 1800.00 FOR A SET OF 20" AND WHEELS. I AM VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS TO THE POINT I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL NOT BUY from you again.
