Dahl Ford - Davenport

I purchased a used Dodge Charger in Nov.2020. It came with a set of "fancy" tires to be put on this spring. Lugs and a wrench to fit were too be included. There were two sets of lugs (one incomplete) included. Seldom do I come back to a dealer for help, however in this case I was unable to find a specialty lug wrench to fit. I talked to my salesman (Chase) who sent me to service which sent me to parts,which sent me back to service where I was told to talk to my salesman. I explained I had already done that but went to him again. He personally took me to parts and explained what I needed and left. At this point things were getting a bit edgy. Parts said I should be talking to a Dodge dealer!!! I told them "I bought the car here." Once again I was told to see a Dodge dealer. At this point I'm thinking that sounded like good advice only too late since I already bought the car! SEE A DODGE DEALER?! Who do you think should have volunteered to see the Dodge Dealer? What a dumb ass thing to say! More

My husband and I saw in Consumer Reports that the Ford Mustang was rated very high in overall reliability. So we decided to go to a Ford dealership and just sit in one to see if it was comfortable (we ar Mustang was rated very high in overall reliability. It seemed okay, but were unsure of the head room since we sat in a convertible. So we went outside to look at the Mustangs outside, when Bob Chase told us about a Mustang they just got in last week on a trade. We took that one for a ride and liked it. First of all, let me tell you we had no intentions of buying a car that day. When we brought it back, we sat down with Bob and asked the questions we needed to ask, then he said "shoot me a price". So my 15 year old gave his thoughts on what price the car should be. Bob took that suggestion to the financial dept. and came back with it being accepted. I looked at my husband and said "I think we just bought a car." I have never experienced such a stress free, painless, and easy way to buy a car. In fact it was so easy, I wasn't even sure we bought it, there had to be a catch somewhere. The catch was I didn't have to wheel and deal, get mad and almost walk out. It was a very enjoyable experience. Mike Ohms was great also (Go Bears). . . Both Mike and Bob stayed late so that we could go home with our almost new Mustang. Thanks guys. They took the time to find out exactly what our needs were for a vehicle and found exactly the right car for us. On one occasion this meant a dealer trade to get just the right vehicle and this time our new Edge was ordered from the factory. We feel we received fair trade- ins and a fair price on each sale.
