I was on my way to Sexton Ford in Davenport, IA and saw Dahl Ford on the way so I decided to stop in. I stopped in the Used Truck section, and was greeted by salesmen Dan Medberry. I told hjim I wanted a black F150 for the right price. He worked with me, and we test drove a truck. I walked out of the dealership not satisfied with the truck, and headed to Sexton. The next morning I got a call from Dan with a deal I couldnt refuse. Dahl gave me the exact truck I wanted, for a great price. The follow up service has been excellent. I love the truck! More
My fiancé and I were in the market to purchase a new vehicle and found Dahl Ford through the Kelley Blue Book website. We were promptly contacted via phone by Amy, who inquired what exact type of vehicl vehicle and found Dahl Ford through the Kelley Blue Book website. We were promptly contacted via phone by Amy, who inquired what exact type of vehicle we were looking for. When she found out we would be traveling to your dealership from out of town, she wanted to make sure that there would be a vehicle in stock for us to see upon our arrival. That was the first of many impressive things to come. Most dealers want to get you in the door and make a sale, whether they sell you the vehicle you want or not. Amy did not do that at all and understood perfectly the dilemma of us having to travel and made sure to find the vehicle we wanted. When we arrived, we were promptly and politely assisted by the receptionist, Pam. Even while waiting for financing, Pam asked if we needed anything and made sure we were taken care of. Upon arrival, we did not have to approach anyone to be assisted; we were approached by three people as soon as we set foot in the door! Customer service at it’s finest! Before we had even made it to the showroom floor, we were greeted by both Gary Mendoza and Pat Gibbs, who became our Sales Consultant. Pat turned out to be one of the many people who made our vehicle purchase painless and actually fun for a change. He searched diligently to find us the vehicle we wanted. During our whole sales experience, Pat made us feel like we were valued customers and not a drop in his wallet. He treated us with respect, was very willing to answer our questions and concerns, and was also a lot of fun to just chat with. When Pat stepped out to get figures ready for us, Gary came in and talked to us for awhile. You can tell that Gary loves his job. He truly made us feel like we were talking to a friend and not a ‘salesperson’. He truly made us feel welcome. When Gary left, Ken Dahl came into Pat’s office to speak with us. I was very impressed that the General Manager took time from his schedule to speak not only with us, but with all of the customers who were there that day. In my experience, upper management is usually either “too busy” to mingle with customers or do not really seem to care about the working parts of their business. Ken specifically asked us how our experience at Dahl was going so far and if we had any questions about the vehicle we were purchasing. The fact that the General Manager of a large business was mingling with the customers and assuring their satisfaction put Dahl Ford at top marks in my book. I didn’t think I could be impressed much more…..that was until we made our way to the Director of Finance. Terry Nelson was a pleasure to deal with. I have never purchased a vehicle and been in and out of the finance office that quickly. He answered all of our questions and even was able to offer some travel advice to us for our honeymoon! Between personal and professional, Terry balanced it perfectly. While sitting at the desk, a knock at the door came. The person who walked into the office was none other than the Owner of the dealership. After being personally greeted and thanked by the owner himself, I was completely sold on the service that Dahl Ford provides for its customers. We’ve been driving our 2008 Ford Escape for almost two weeks now and we are very happy with our choice. Most importantly, we are now loyal Dahl Ford customers who are willing to travel to have the pleasure of dealing with Dahl. We do have a local Ford dealership in our town, but they can’t even begin to compare with the overall experience we had at Dahl. I HIGHLY recommend Dahl Ford to anyone in the market to purchase a Ford product. More
