Mr. Castro-Salesman He didn't pressure me into buying a vehicle but allowed me to make the decision on my own. Was very accommodating to my needs. He didn't pressure me into buying a vehicle but allowed me to make the decision on my own. Was very accommodating to my needs. More

Mike and Lazaro are the Best! Upon entering the dealership, I was assisted by Mike Diaz. I explained to Mike the frustrations that I was currently experiencing with the car buying Upon entering the dealership, I was assisted by Mike Diaz. I explained to Mike the frustrations that I was currently experiencing with the car buying process at another Dodge dealership. Mr. Diaz assured me I would not experience those same problems and he absolutely kept his word. He was very informative and I could easily see that he is very knowledgeable about all of the cars and services that Dodge offers. Lazaro is also very informative and explained the financing process to me better than a college professor. I had a pleasurable experience and I will definitely refer my friends and family to Dadeland Dodge Chrysler Jeep :-) More
I have no words I just found myself in a terrible predicament: Dump the last used car I bought, a 2002 Dodge Durango I bought at a government auction, in the municipa I just found myself in a terrible predicament: Dump the last used car I bought, a 2002 Dodge Durango I bought at a government auction, in the municipal garbage site and lose all the money (to be exact, $5382.00 - Yes, over five thousand dollars!!) I just paid in January 2015 to your dealership in awful, unnecessary repairs to a car that continued to show all types of lights turning on: Engine light, check gauges light, brakes light, in addition to overheating, smoke coming out of the engine (this happened last night!!), the coolant liquid exploding inside the engine and splashing all over, brakes, new spark plugs and tune-up, new radiator, new, new, new, replace, replace, replace... This is the nightmare I got myself into by first buying this used Dodge from an auction that doesn't allow any inspections at all, but worse, then making the horrible mistake to taking it directly from the auction to the Dodge Dealer - Dadeland Dodge. Trusting that nobody can fix the car better than the maker of the car, I took it there in December. One month later, and after numerous calls to the service department, I finally got my car back. I agreed to pay the unheard of amount of $5,382 basically because I DID NOT want another monthly payment over my head. Also, because I figured this old clunker would last after such an investment and would be fine to take the dogs to the park and pull my boat. Dream on!! Oh no.. that never happened. The moment I took back possession of the car, I hadn't even driven two blocks and all the lights on the dash board came back on! It was unbelieveable. Needless to say, I have been in constant battle with this dealership's service managers as their "repair" job did nothing to repair the issues I took the car in there for, and actually, I was contantly told that I needed to spend even more money to now "repair this" or "repair that"... What?! I have been completely taken advantage of for trusting that a dealer of a car maker such as Dodge would actually know what they were doing and would never make me spend over five thousand dollars in useless "repairs". Last night, I had enough. I drove the car with the temperature gauge at top H, smoke coming out of the engine and through the sides of the car, the headlights turning on and off making weird sounds, just a horror show! I was adamant to leave the car in front of the service depart ment for the NTH time and demand for it to be fixed or get my money back. That meant that a battle would surely ensue. After a heated conversation last Monday with this dealer's service manager, a very nice lady but not very much in touch with the extremely poor quality of workmanship of the "mechanics" that work under her, I never heard back from her or my offer to either get my money refunded or fix it, but I wouldn't pay one more dime. I was fed up of it all and decided to trade it in for another newer car on this dealer's lot. A very nice sales manager heard my pathetic story and saw how irate and desperate I was after what just happened to me driving home from work, and asked a salesman to help me out and find something I could take home instead. They were both very nice, they worked with me, and I am satisfied to have made that choice. I do hope this new Dodge Ram will last for a long time without the headaches that I got from the Durango service experience. Frankly, this dealership is a mess overall. Today I had to wait almost two hours to get the car which only needed a blinker light bulb changed, air in a tire, a wash and that's it. I had to miss work because I couldn't pick up the vehicle in the morning or even at 1:00 pm. When the salesman called me at around 1:30- I was told the car would be ready in 20 min. I got there and was made to wait for two hours because they were filling it with gasoline!! What is this, for God's sakes? How disrespectful and unprofessional is this repeated disregard for your client's time, money, needs, etc! I will never recommend this dealership and can only hope for your sake that you shape up, and take some drastic and serious measures immediately!! I had to add this: Below where this survey asks "when selecting this dealership how important was the reputation of the service department" and I chose "Significantly" is only because of how I would NEVER want to take any cars there for repair. It is significantly horrible. It was not meant as a compliment at all. More
Walked Into A Great Deal... But Not So Great Customer Servic First let me say I got a GREAT deal on a very nice car. And Luis Garbinski was actually a top notch sales associate. However, the manager Rene Poitevi First let me say I got a GREAT deal on a very nice car. And Luis Garbinski was actually a top notch sales associate. However, the manager Rene Poitevin is really quite abrasive. It's really a shame that with my love of all things Dodge and my seven years of satisfaction with Dadeland Doge in particular that the one thing that stands our is Rene condescending tone and inability to even fake being nice. We had our deal all wrapped up and the last minute addition of no LoJack almost caused us to walk away. Rene came over and said "Buy the car, don't buy the car I really don't care..." When I walked out to contact both corporate dodge and LoJack directly he actually had the audacity to follow me out the dealership and say "You're a very nice lady, but other than that I can not say." WTH does that even mean?? Finally a young guy from Fleet by the name of Chris (Excellent employee; Dodge should give that kid a raise.) approached us to explain the LoJack being installed versus being included (buyer beware just because it says installed on the sticker does not mean they are including it.) Even though it did not pan out in our favor Chris was able to explain it to us so that we were able to comprehend what was going on. Which finally put the deal back on the right track. Ultimately, I am able to get over the fact that Rene is such a pompous jerk and I would recommend this dealership to you as Luis and Chris and the whole Dodge family is such a great team!!! More
