Went in for an oil change and have my heated seats checked because they don’t heat up even when on Max heat. Technician said max temperature read on the seat warmer was 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When ask checked because they don’t heat up even when on Max heat. Technician said max temperature read on the seat warmer was 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When asked for further detail, I was told the seats were functions normally. When I stated what is the normal range based upon manufacturer production requirements for the heated seats at the max setting, no one was able to give me an answer. If you can’t answer this basic question, how can you tell they are functioning as intended? 78 degrees is not an acceptable temperature for the max setting on heated seats and I believe my vehicle is not functioning as intended by the manufacturer. I believe I have been misguided by your service people because they either don’t know any better and are poorly trained, or they are too lazy to figure out the issue. More
