I purchased a 2011 Toyota Venza today after doing on line research for a month. 2 weeks ago I sent an on-line request for more information. Deana Patmore responded to my on-line request via a phone call and research for a month. 2 weeks ago I sent an on-line request for more information. Deana Patmore responded to my on-line request via a phone call and voice mail within 45 minutes, on New Years Eve! Due to my job travel schedule, Deane and I traded emails for 2 weeks, of which were very detailed and informative. I finally found time to head into the dealership, where I spoke to and worked with Robert Goldberg. Robert made it very easy for me to make my decision to purchase his car after he went through all the details in a professional and honest manner. The best part was receiving good value for my trade in, slightly higher than Kelley Blue Book. I will recommend this dealership to friends and family and continue to purchase cars in the future here. I spent much time researching online and at various dealerships to explore all of my options. An important factor to me was that my husband be present to help me with my final decision. Since he works long hours six days a week, that left us only Sundays to visit the dealerships to inquire and test drive together. I was extremely happy to find DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota open for business! (This seems to be rare in the car dealership line of work!) In fact on our first Sunday visit to DCH, our day had run a bit on the late side and the sales consultant that had initially met us, Rolando Dones, and the sales manager, Daryl Callahan, stayed after hours for us! My husband really wanted me to test drive the Venza, which was not on my original list. Rolando pointed out the Venzas on the lot and we went for a few test drives. I then went on to visit the dealership several times over the next few days to test drive several more Venzas. On one particular day when I stopped in, Rolando was off and another sales consultant, MJ, cheerfully offered to hunt down the Venza I wanted to look at and couldn't find, and brought it up to the showroom for me. When it came time to decide I was extremely thrilled that we didn't have to go through the typical price haggling! Sales manager Daryl Callahan gave us a trade-in value for my old car that was a bit more than KBB and Consumer's and a price on the new car that was also quite reasonable. (I am one to believe that a profit for the dealership of $500-$1,000 is fair...they are a business after all) Their initial price to me fell right in that range. SOLD!! My final decision ended up on the 2011, AWD, 6 cyl. Venza in Classic Silver Metallic. It was the best car-buying experience that I've EVER had! Everyone we dealt with at DCH made it such a pleasurable experience! When you find something great, you just have to share it...and I have been and will continue to do so about this dealership! I first came to the dealership looking for a car two years ago and worked with Cory Rheal. At the time I was interested in a car that was more suited to me than the one I was driving. Cory was very helpful and spent some time with me test driving and reviewing cars. He also followed up with me after to keep me posted on new arrivals that would be of interest to me. I did not buy anything at that time as nothing peak my interest. Recently I decided that I needed to switch to an all wheel drive vehicle after having moved, and my car no longer being suitable for my traveling conditions. I stopped into DCH Toyota on my way home from work and Cory happened to be working on this day. I let him know what my driving needs were and what I was looking for. I noted something that was of interest to me on the lot and he suggested others that may suit my needs but did not push me towards any vehicle in particular. After I test drove the vehicle I was interested in I decided it was the right vehicle for me. At no time did I feel pressured by Cory to settle for anything else, even though my chosen vehicle was likely one of the lowest priced all wheel drives on the lot. He even stayed past his normal working hours that day to finish the paperwork so that I could pick it up later in the week. This car buying experience was, in my opinion, what it should be like in all situations. I felt comfortable and non-pressured throughout the entire process. I do not regret my buy, and the experience as a whole was rather pleasurable considering the risk and stress normally involved with buying a vehicle. Not only did I find Cory to be very professional and helpful, but I also found that other employees at DCH Toyota were very personable and engaging as they chatted with me while Cory was processing my purchase. I have already recommended this facility to others and relayed what a great experience this was for me. In doing so I also heard some positive feedback from others that have heard of similar experiences at this facility. I will definitely remember this experience and facility in future vehicle purchases, and hope that others have the the same positive experience that I have had when dealing with this dealership. In closing I just want to thank DCH Toyota and Cory for the positive experience and fair treatment. It took two years but with fair and not pressured treatment their patience paid off! Considering I purchased my vehicle two days before Christmas I thank you for contributing to my having a happy holiday. I went in, definately, not to buy a car that day. I never buy on a 1st visit. I was uncomfortable (as usual) at 1st, but became very comfortable, very fast. Rob and the Business Manager, Rob Italiano, worked tirelessly to help me get the best deal possible given my financial situation. We recently purchased a pre-owned Chevy Express Cargo Van from Corey Rheel at DCH Toyota. Our experience was amazing. Everything went smooth from start to finish. We have been looking for a new car since last spring. Our experiences with dealers and especially salesmen was terrible. Jose was the first one we trusted. We appreciated that he didn't have to keep going to his manager to see if he could get a better price. That is probably one of the worse parts of shopping for a car. Jose was friendly, but not overly pushy and explained everything well. He was able to locate the vehicles we wanted to try and gave us space to talk about what we wanted to do (sales vs. lease). The main attraction was the deal on the lease. We already have a Camry bought from DCH that is now over 130,000 miles and going well. That experience and the experience provided by Jose plus the affordability of your current pricing was why we now have a new Camry. It is our first lease so we shall see how if we still feel as good when the three years are up. We hear many horror stories of dealers who charge for a lot of extra stuff at the end of the least. Hopefully, that will not happen. More
